Will 'Eega' Producers Fly or Cry?

Ace director Rajamouli's sci-fi flick 'Eega' has got its release date finally. The graphic extravaganza is going to hit theatres on May 30th with a super positive talk in a maximum number of theatres. But, will the movie makes producers 'fly' or 'cry'.

For long, he is considered as a flop-less director in industry despite a strong talk about producers incurring losses in some of his movies. There were times where makers reported losses for blockbusters like 'Sye', 'Vikramarkudu' and 'Chatrapati'. Most of the times, Rajamouli has changed producers for his movies giving no thought to critics that he is making a movie with same producer to recover previous film losses. Even with 'Eega', another producer Sai Korrapati is getting introduced.

He is said to be banking a lot on Rajamouli's brand value but the over shot budget due to proficient CG works is said to be scaring him a bit. If the movie flies properly at Box Office, then he can run with profits or if it tangles with the hit talk of other movies, then 'Eega' will make him surely cry, say trade pundits. Wait and see!

Dammu beats Racha by huge margin!

NTR's summer release Dammu has already started showing signs of creating a tsunami at the box office. The film is going to release in record number of theaters across the globe. Dammu is going to be screened in almost all the screens in Guntur and Vijayawada on the first day, except for the theaters playing Racha.

Dammu is all set to create new record for release centers in Karnataka state. Recently a GO was passed lifting away the limitations of other language films release in Karnataka. Racha was the first to be benefitted with it. It was released in about hundred theaters in Karnataka on first day. Due to gigantic release, Racha raked in more than 2 crores share in first week from Karnataka alone.

Now Dammu is going to release in more than 150 theaters in Karnataka thus beating Racha record by a huge margin. If Dammu gets positive talk then the first week share from Karnataka will be huge. Odds are fully in positive of Dammu to set a new record in opening day collections. If everything is in its favor, it will beat Racha first week collections record to be the numero uno in first week records.

Mahesh Sukumar movie shooting begins

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s latest film under Sukumar direction is set to have its first schedule from today onwards in Annapurna studios, Hyderabad. The production unit is going to film a song under the super vision of Prem Rakshit on Mahesh and others. This song shoot will continue for one week.

Mahesh is trying a brand new look for this film and he is playing the role of a lecturer. Kajal Agarwal is paired with Mahesh for the second time after their super hit first film ‘The Businessman’. For the first time, Devi Sri Prasad is going to provide soundtrack for this Mahesh starrer.
Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara are producing this movie on 14 Reels Entertainments. The movie is expected to release for Pongal, 2013.

I'm just Ram Charan, not Ram Charan Teja

While the media and the public has began referring to him by the name Ram Charan Tej since a very long time, the actor himself seems to be unhappy with it. He prefers to be called Ram Charan over Ram Charan Tej.

Finally, Charan has decided to clarify this to one and all. He used the social media to send this message the film lovers and the media. "My dad named me Ram Charan not Ram Charan Tej. So I feel good when people call me just "Ram Charan". I also request the media to note this," he wrote on his twitter page.

Now the question is why didn't the actor object when the director's used Ram Charan Teja in the title cards of his film. Times change, people change, tastes change! So everybody, from now onwards Mega Powerstar is just Ram Charan, not Ram Charan Tej!

Can Hit Heroines Bring Luck To Vishnu?

Manchu Vishnu is yet to see the real taste of success, though he is invading Tollywood from a long time. He says that he is learning from his mistakes, but makes sure that his next films become a bigger mistake than previous.

Luckily, Vishnu is getting big budgets for his movies, irrespective of the flop fate of his previous ones and one should thank his 'legend' father for that. With budgets sky rocketing, hot and happening heroines are also part of his campaign all the time. He has acted with big-stars like Anushka (Astram), Genelia (Dhee), Ileana (Saleem) and Taapsee (Vastadu Na Raju), but no one's on-screen sex appeal had saved Vishnu. Already, Hansika is shaking Tamil babus with her voluptuous figure and cute cleavage shows before signing four movies with big Kollywood heroes. Once again, Critics say that 'starlets' are no lucky mascots for this flop-hero. Wonder what Vishnu has to say about this!

Lady director ran away from Twitter

It is known news that the social networking site Twitter has been the most sought after one for the Tollywood folks. Almost all the noted heroes and heroines and the directors keep sharing their thoughts on this and they are developing a strong connect with their fans on a personal level.

However, it is heard that one person has ran away from it. She is the budding director Nandini Reddy. After having scored a hit with her debut venture, Nandini was quite active on Twitter and used to come up with few tweets and opinionated statements which raised the eyebrows of many.

Anyways, the latest update is that she has not touched the site anymore as she has been getting few strong indecent messages. While the content of the messages is unknown, it is heard that Nandini could not take it anymore and bid goodbye to it. Let us see if her forthcoming venture might prompt her to make a comeback.

Shriya Gets Last Chance From M-Camp

As you are expecting, fading heroine Shriya Saran got her last assignment in Telugu industry from M-camp this time. We mean to say she is all set to act in an upcoming movie of Mohan Babu Camp.

'Nuvva-Nena' debacle has hit hard on Shriya, affecting her further career in Telugu Film Industry. Currently, she is having no work in hands despite her readiness for sexposing, bikinis and lip locks. Reports say that Mohan Babu has recommended Shriya's name for an 'apsara' character in his upcoming movie. Slightly with a touch of negativity and a dose of skin show, this role will be a pivotal one in MB's upcoming mythological flick that deals with the story of Demon king Ravana.

If all goes well, the film will hit screens by next year with whose success she can open a second innings in Tollywood after a stint of flop-ful years. Other than this movie, she has nothing in hand and should wander here and there for a year if she commits this, says a Film Lover.

Line cleared for Chiru's 150th film

Congress high command has given its nod for the re-entry of actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi into film with the landmard (150th) film. Union minister and AICC observer Vayalar Ravi, who was in the state to prepare the party for the upcoming by-polls, stressed the need for Chiru's re-entry.

"Vayalar Ravi insisted me to act in films again. But I conveyed to him that I'm not having the time for films. Then he stressed that sending the message using a powerful medium like cinema will have more impact on the people then political yatras. When he said that people are expecting films from me, I felt it encouraging. I might do a film soon, if a good subject comes my way," said Chiru.

Although several directors were waiting for the golden chance to direct Chiru's 150th film, the Iconic actor is very cautious about the script. He is looking out for a subject which has both commercial elements to entertain his fans and a good message in it to come close to the voters. Two birds in one shot, Right!

Pressure On Boyapati For Budget Recovery

Boyapati Seenu has become a sought after mass-director to deal with action oriented mass movies in the likes of VV Vinayak. His latest movie's producers are said to be forcing him a bit to recover the whole budget.

While it is known to everyone that Boyapati's previous three films, Bhadra, Tulasi and Simha are stupendous hits, reports say a different angle about them. Other than 'Simha', his rest two movies have incurred losses for distributors in a couple of places. Insiders are saying that his upcoming movie 'Dammu' producers are pressurizing him to trim the second half of this flick. Say it 'Bhadra' or 'Tulasi', both go a bit over board regarding sentiment and this may not work with Jr.NTR, the producer has felt like.

It is heard that the producers of 'Dammu' are leaving no stone unturned to recover their complete investment in first week itself irrespective of movie's fate. Critics feel that forcing a director to do some unsatisfied cuts for the sake of budget recovery may not go well. When director looses pace of his movie with these trimmings, results may come out different. Wait for 'Dammu' to know more.

Daruvu Muted for Gabbar Singh Kevvu Keka

Massraja Raviteja took a backseat and postponed the release of his masala flick 'Daruvu' to pave the way for the massive release of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's mass entertainer 'Gabbar Singh' (release date 10th or 11th).

Although the film was being planned to hit screens on May 4th, due to the understanding between the producers of summer releases the release has been postponed to May 18th. Now, the producers have decided to maintain a healthy gap between the release each others films to avoid the possibility of one film eating up the revenues of the other.

The delay in the release of 'Daruvu' will also benefit Young Tiger NTR's Dammu (release date 27th) as it will have no competition at the Box Office for atleast two weeks, that's till the release of Gabbar Singh. And if Gabbar Singh hits the bulls eye, Daruvu will be postponed further. Will Pawan's magic works this time? Mega Fans, keep your fingers crossed!

Kochadaiyaan Movie Updates

Soundarya Ashwin, the director of Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan has updated on the film and Kochadaiyaan unit is currently in Trivandrum, Kerala to shoot some crucial and action  Episodes. Bollywood Heroin Deepika Padukone has joined this Team Today. Soundarya Ashwin, the film's director tweeted: 'Off to Kerala... Kochadaiyaan schedule 2 starts tomorrow.'

Sarathkumar, Aadhi, and Deepika Padukone are part of the cast and music is by AR Rahman. Meanwhile, an agency report quoting a production company said that 'Kochadaiyaan' may be released in September this year.  

Ajith 'Billa 2' in Telegu as 'David Billa'

Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar’s latest film Billa 2 is creating pre - release sensation in Tamilnadu. This film has got superb response for its teaser which was released few days back. Audio release will take place on May 1 and movie will release in the last week of the same month. 

Billa 2  is being dubbed in Telugu as David Billa. It is a prequel to Billa directed by Eenadu fame Chakri Toleti. Producer Shobha of SVR Media has bagged the Telugu dubbing rights of this film. Parvathy Omanakuttan played the female lead in this film in which Brazilian model Gabriela shakes her legs for a song. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director.

Teja's next movie : 'Premals.. Domals...'

Director Teja has the credit of introducing new talent. He earlier introduced  Uday Kiran, Nitin, Sada, Anita and recently Prince and Nandita with 'Neeka Naaku'. Now he is once again planning to do a film with all newcomers in the lead.

The latest buzz says that this film is titled 'Premals.. Domals...'. Director Teja has registered this title on his banner recently at Film Chamber. ‘Premals.. Domals...’ movie is tipped to be yet another youthful entertainer from Teja’s dugout.  For this movie, Teja will initiate a star search campaign to find out suitable casting for his movie says buzz. Official confirmation is expected to announce  soon. 

Rajamouli 'Eega' set to fly on May 30

The most awaited socio-fantasy movie of star director SS Rajamouli Eega has completed its production and post-production formalities and getting ready to release soon. As per the latest reports the makers of the Eega are planning to release it on May 30th.

Nani and Samantha are playing female lead. Kannada super star Sudeep is playing the antagonist of the film. The movie is being dubbed in Tamil as Naan Ee and will have a simultaneous release with Telugu version. Keeravani has scored wonderful tunes for this film.

The story of the film revolves around a house-fly (Eega).The protagonist of the film dies in the hands of villain and will be reborn as Eega. How he takes revenge on the antagonist is the rest of the story. The film is made on a whopping budget and has lot of special effects.

'Dammu' Hyderabad Theaters list

Dammu movie is all set to release on April 27 and will join the summer season. NTR Jr. played the lead role in this film directed by Boyapati Srinu. Trisha and Karthika are the heroines and KS Rama Rao is the producer.

Understandably, Dammu is having a large scale release in all the territories as it was sold for high rates. Buyers are doing their best to squeeze as much as they can before other competitors come in its way. As of now, 200 theaters were confirmed in Nizam area out of which 55 theatres are in Hyderabad city alone. This number is likely to shoot up in the coming days.

Bangkok has become a golden destination for Tollywood people who wants to work focused and relax with complete paradise treatment. This hot heroine and her male partners have blasted the roads of Thailand's capital with their sizzling acts.

According to grapevine, the three of them, a heroine, hero and director are in Bangkok for a shoot of their latest movie. As they have met after a long time, the three used to do late night swimming in the backside pool of the hotel they are staying in for spending quality time. For a couple of days, our dazzling beauty has sent her mother back to Mumbai for accompanying these two guys in their secret desires. Finally they are said to have dispersed when director's wife and kids turned up all of a sudden.

This heroine is heard quite co-operative for anyone during foreign shoots but gives no 'chance' while shooting in India. Looks like, it is for this reason, many producers are planning their shoots in Bangkok which helps them both in getting grandeur to film and satisfaction to money.

Terrific deal between Pawan and Rajamouli

Telugu filmmakers have realized that gone are the days when two or more films clash at the box office and all could come out as winners. The business module has changed now. It is all about making the most in initial weeks. Therefore they can't afford to share the business with other films. Hence they are maintaining a healthy gap of two to three weeks even in the peak summer.

May big releases Gabbar Singh and Eega are all set to release on 9th and 30th respectively. With Eega slated for 30th release, Gabbar Singh work has speeded up to make to it to the theaters by 9th or 11th of May. Hence, the shooting is going on at a brisk pace. By maintaining three weeks gap both the films are going to benefit big time. We have seen Businessman and Racha doing terrific business in the span of two to three weeks.

So this deal will be helpful for both these films which have the potential to become huge blockbusters. On the other hand, NTR's Dammu, which is releasing on April 27th, will get at least two weeks time to storm the box office before Gabbar Singh arrives. Superb trend this is, isn't it?
