Who Killed Puttaparthy Sai Baba?

Written By CineGlamour on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 | 3:33 pm

Death mystery surrounding this spiritual leader is not unfolded even after a year after his demise. When he is alive, his powers are a big mystery and after his demise, his wealth became another mystery.

Satya Sai Baba suffered ill health for a couple of months before his death and reasons behind it are still unknown. There is no report about the cause of Baba's death with any proper medical reports in place before his death and after. There are accusations that freezer-box is purchased even before Baba is pronounced dead, while his personal doctor Safaya denied this. Even at Prashanti Nilayam, crowds got slim and the devotional place lost its charm and credibility after Baba left this world.

Crores of rupees wealth and gold was looted out of Ashram after death of Baba, as some politicians helped the insiders, say reports. Baba's brother's son Ratnakar, member of Satyasai Trust is played a key role in suppressing all other relatives to grab Baba's properties. Reports say that gold ornaments and cash worth more than 100 crores are bailed out of Ashram when Baba is not feeling well. His principle and favorite disciple Satyajit is not seen in Prashanti Nilayam and Puttaparthy after cremation ceremony of Baba. Till date, there is no official inquiry into the whole proceedings and no agency is probing the exact causes that happened in Puttaparthy which had killed Satya Sai.

Jagan's Misdeeds Benefitted Chiru In Big Way!

If Jagan and his team have made a big hole to government's wealth and properties, there are some beneficiaries who pocketed crores without knowing the actual. If you could believe, megastar Chiru is one among them.

The hub of all these corrupt deeds as per CBI, Jagathi publications, got people like Nimmagadda Prasad invest more than 100 crores before selling out his stakes a couple of times. With the funds raised, Prasad is able to invest a large in MAA TV and that in turn aggregated their share power. Now, with Sony buying stake in it, many say that all the principle directors and investors have fetched a lot. Along with other hero Nagarjuna, Chiru too walked home with a cool 100 crore profit, say reports.

However, directors on board may not look into the real hands behind the invested money rather liquidating it. If CBI questions Nimmagadda Prasad again, there is a chance of MAA TV's investment surfacing in the headlines.

Controversy over appointment of Joint-Director Of ACB

Responding to the objection raised by ACB DG over the appointment of IPS officer C Ravi Verma as joint director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), the state government on Monday made it clear that the decision is final and there is no chance of changing it stance.

ACB director general Bhoobathi Babu objected the appointment of Ravi Verma, complaining that his track record wasn't clean enough to offer such prestigious post.

However, the state government came out strongly in support of the IPS officer Ravi Verma. "First of all, Mr Bhoobathi Babu has no authority to review the track record of others. The information available with the government confirms that Ravi Verma's track record is clean and his performance till date is very impressive," said a top government official.

The government also hinted that disciplinary action would be taken against ACB DG, he fails to comply with its orders.

Abdul Kalam - The next President of India!

As the term of the current president Pratibha Patil is coming to an end, the debate has started on who would be the next first citizen of the country. Speculations were on a rise that former president Abdul Kalam will be choosen for the job for the second time.

Agriculture minister Sharad Pawar's statement that a 'non-political' person could be an 'ideal' choice has given strength to Kalam's nomination. "As both UPA and NDA aren't having the majority to ensure that candidate of their choice becomes the next President, it's better to choose a 'non-political' person," said Pawar.

Pratibha Patil’s term as the President of India will end in July. Several political parties has already agreed on the nomination of Kalam. Most likely, Abdul Kalam may emerge as a consensus candidate! Kalam's invaluable contribution to the nation and his impressive performance as the president of India might work in his favour.

YS Jagan is again 'A1' in Fresh Charge Sheet filed by CBI

The investigation agency that is probing into Jagan's illegal assets case has filed an additional charge sheet today. Once again, CBI has zeroed on Jagan as 'Accused No.1' in the case.

CBI sleuths have stated in their additional charge sheet that Jagathi Publications has practiced many illegal methods to attract huge investments. Jagan is named A1, Vijaysai A2 and Jagathi Publications as A3 in this newly lodged charge sheet. It is revealed by CBI that 850 crores were invested in Jagathi by buying shares worth 10 rupees, at a rate of 350 rupees. All these investors have fetched good deals through state government and as part of 'quid pro quo' they have invested back here.

Vijay Sai is accused that he has diverted more than 200 crores into Jagathi to convert black money into white. Surprisingly, CBI has lodged their charge sheet by the time the tainted auditor has surrendered in CBI court today. The chances for his lawyers to obtain another review on the bail petition will go slim with these acts of CBI.

Shankar Rao fires on Congress Ministers

Many bosses from Delhi are flying in and going back, but none are able to control this exaggerative politician of Congress party. While Vayalar has put many people in the Stage congress at bay, this veteran is still firing his guns against the ruling party.

'Like it is done to me and ACB officer Srinivas, CM Kiran is trying to suppress the voices of people against the corruptive acts of government', says Congress veteran and ex-minister Shankar Rao. He is stressing all the time that a change should be made in CM post and PCC Chief post to make the travel of State Congress smooth. Observers are still not able to understand how come Shankar Rao is not silent even after Vayilar Ravi's visit to Hyderabad a couple of days ago.

In fact, all the Congress leaders of state are not making quite big and controversial statements after Ravi's arrival except Shankar Rao. Sources say that Sonia wants to look personally into the matters of some seniors like Shankar Rao and KK before taking a decision to plaster their mouth.

Jeevitha-Rajasekhar to join BJP

Celebrity couple Jeevitha and Rajasekhar would be joining the National party BJP on 25th of this month. They will take the primary membership of the party in the presence of BJP top brass leader Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday morning at around 10.40 am in Nampally BJP office.

Reports say, the couple were in talks with the BJP leaders for sometime now. After getting clear assurance from the BJP leadership over the posts they would be getting, the duo has declared that they will join the party. Jeevitha would be offered a prominant post - South India's BJP spokes-women. On the other hand, Rajasekhar might get a union minister post, if BJP regains the power in 2014 polls.

The duo started their political career with TDP and later moved to the Congress party during the tenure of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy as CM. After YSR's sudden demise, they resigned from the primary membership of the Congress and joined Jagan's YSR Congress party. But their stay in YSRC didn't last for too long, as differences propped up between the Yuva Neta and the Star Couple. After taking potshots at Jagan, they announced their decision to quit the party. Although they tried to join their parent party TDP using their good relations with Balayya, TDP Chief Chandrababu didn't show any interest in taking them into the party. Finally, they have chosen the BJP which is trying to regain its lost glory in Telangana using the strong sentiment in the region. Let's see, how long they can survive in this new party!

Bhanu pocketed Rs 200 crore with YSR's project

The Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials have revealed that Bhanu incurred a gain of Rs 200 crore in Handri-Neeva project. This is done by taking contracts and sub-contracts of the project using benami names.

Although Bhanu has done several deals without Suri's knowledge, the investments in Handri-Neeva were made following the orders of his leader. Using his good contacts with former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Suri acquired the contracts of the project. The Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi project is intended to provide irrigation facility to four districts in the Rayalaseema region. Late YSR laid the foundation stone for this mega project.

The money earned through land settlements was invested in this project. If Suri and his gang could earn Rs 200 crore in a single project, how much would be their total assets worth! A through investigation by the CID officials will expose many shocking facts about the atrocities of this dangerous gang.

Controversy over National drink status to Tea

The statement made by the Planning Commission Deputy Chairman, Montek Singh Ahluwalia, on Sunday that India would declare 'tea' as the National drink by April next year has given rise to serious debate all over the country.

"Tea will be given national drink status by April 17 next year to coincide with the 212th birth anniversary of first Assamese tea planter and Sepoy Mutiny leader Maniram Dewan," he said, during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Assam Tea Planters Association in Assam.

However, a voice has risen now that Milk should be given national drink status, instead of tea. "Milk is the best energy drink and healthy drink in the world. How could tea be made national drink, instead of milk?," says a farmer.

Amul, which is one of the most trusted and biggest brands in the country, has also raised objection to the proposal of making tea a national drink.

Bhanu - The mastermind behind Suri

Written By CineGlamour on Monday, April 23, 2012 | 8:22 pm

Bhanu Kiran, the prime accused in Maddelacheruvu Suri's murder, claims that he is the mastermind behind 'Brand Suri'.

According to the CID Officials, Suri has no direct invovement in any of the deals and settlements. It was Bhanu who used to take care of all these matters. If anyone approaches Suri seeking his help, he has the habit of assigning the task to his close aide Bhanu. Taking advantage of it, Bhanu used Suri's name for several settlements and amassed wealth. All this has been done without Suri's knowledge.

The entire police department breathed a sigh of relief after the most wanted criminal was arrested in Zaheerabad on Saturday. Few months back, the CID officials has missed him by a whisker in Nagpur when Bhanu vacated the hotel room just before the cops arrived at the spot. The call records confirm that Bhanu travelled all over the country, except Jammu-Kashmir and the North-East.

CM Kiran Joins Hands With PCC Chief Botsa

With opposition leader Naidu raising his vociferous statements against Botsa hard, none other than his rival has come to rescue. CM Kiran Kumar took his turn today to knock the anti-Kiran and anti-Botsa statements.

Kiran states that opposition leaders are losing cool as they are not able to make people change their minds about the goodwill they are having on congress. 'With no other reason to attack the government, they are publicizing that there is an internal rift in Congress party and leadership change is inevitable', says Kiran. He asked those anti-forces working against him and Botsa to come up with proofs if they want a stringent answer from them.

Observers are saying that Delhi bosses have given the necessary oxygen for Kiran to counter attack all the opposition in state. If Kiran and Botsa really merged the differences between them, one can expect them to start attacking their anti-groups in the party, first, say analysts.

Why Bhanu was rushed to jail at Midnight?

Factionist Maddelacheruvu Suri's murderer Bhanu Kiran complained that there is threat to his life from the opponents (mainly Suri gang), after his arrest at Zaheerabad when he was on his way to Hyderabad from Mumbai. So, he was immediately produced before the magistrate after the press meet with media-persons. After taking orders from the magistrate, the CID officials had rushed him to the Cherlapally jail on Saturday midnight.

A special high-security block in Cherlapally jail has been allotted to Bhanu Kiran. Generally, around 20 inmates will share a single barrack. In November 2008, Moddu Seenu (the prime accused in Paritala Ravi murder case) was killed by his fellow prisoner Om Prakash in Anantapur prison. Taking this incident into account, a separate cell was given to Bhanu by the jail authorities.

Reports say, Suri's gang has pleadged to kill Bhanu. Their plans to catch Bhanu before the police could get him didn't work. As now Bhanu is in the prison, Suri's gang is using their past contacts with politicians and jail authorities to assassinate him.

Chandrababu Is Blackmailing Government Officials

Vizianagaram has become a battle field from today morning and the war between Telugudesam and Congress is turning more personal with leaders criticizing in the most possible hurting way.

'CM has stated earlier in assembly that he will take action against all the persons involved in Liquor scam and changed his mind after a settlement took place in Delhi', Chandrababu accused. He says that Congress leaders are sharing the state in phase wise to loot people off wealth. PCC Chief Botsa has come down heavily on these comments of Naidu. 'He is dreaming again for CM seat. People will not believe in his gimmicks as he is the god father of corruption.

This opposition leader is a curse to people and state', Botsa fumed. He says that Naidu is blackmailing government officials with his ex-CM arrogance and not co-operating with Police to prevail chaos situation in the district. Another Congress leader accused, 'It is Chandrababu who has lifted prohibition in state. It's really funny to see him talking about liquor deeds now'. That's all for now, about Vizianagaram politics!

Bhanu's first shock to CID Officials

Seems like, Bhanu Kiran is enjoying all the attention he has been getting after the murder of factionist Maddelacheruvu Suri. When the CID officials insisted him to wear a black cloth to cover his face to produce him before the media, Bhanu refused to do so.

Instead, he questioned the sleuths "Why do you want me to wear the mask? and What do you want to prove by doing so? Everyone knows me very well and there is nothing to hide". He also hinted that if he was produced before the media with a mask, the CID officials will land in trouble. "Media and the people might think that the cops have produced someone else in the name of Bhanu, to divert the some other issue or to close Suri's murder case file," he said.

Initially, the CID officials feared that producing Bhanu without covering his face might trigger violence in Anantapur district. Although the cops had planned to produce Bhanu before the media for just a few minutes, the pressure mounted by mediapersons has forced them to prolong it till the end of pressmeet. In fact, Bhanu's free advice about the mask has shocked the CID officials as they had never experienced such thing before.

'Restricting TDP Is A Big Blow For Congress'

Congress sleuths are busy restricting TDP convoy from entering into Vizianagaram district to stage a Dharna against the government regarding to Liquor Scam. Seniors from ruling party are opining that this will give TDP a much needed boost for the coming by-polls.

Vizianagaram police have succeeded in implementing 144 section in the district, to restrict TDP, which Telugudesam folks are saying that a plan of congress to halt them. Finally, both the Congress and TDP sleuths are allowed to stage protests at district collectorate but under police supervision. 'Choking opposition's throat for raising their voice against few liquor baron politicians will ruin the chances of Congress in coming polls, TDP leader Ashok Gajapathi Raju stated.

Congress seniors are also voicing the same opinion that shielding Botsa and co., will not help them politically in turning vote banks towards them. Both the parties are anyways fighting each other with word-weapons, now at Vizianagaram, digging at the histories of oppositions!

Vayalar Ravi Supports CM Kiran In His Report?

Delhi ambassador is finally opening his views about state congress in the presence of Madam Sonia. Though he has spent oodles of time with PCC Chief Botsa and other anti-Kiran leaders, his reports are in favor with CM Kiran only.

According to reports, Vayalar Ravi has informed Madam Sonia that Kiran Kumar is doing well in the post of Chief Minister than his predecessors. Sources say that Vayalar has supported CM's version in the back footing of Congress in Andhra Pradesh. They have identified YSR and YS Jagan as main threats in Congress in AP other than the internal rifts that are messing up the affairs of party. Coming to Kiran's issue, it is almost clear that CM Kiran and his post are immovable now.

Already, things between Kiran and Botsa are solved to an extent, while Deputy CM Damodara Rajanarasimha is out of the scene even before Ravi's arrival in Hyderabad.

Mamata Takes Inspiration From YS Jagan

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has stated that they are going to start a TV channel and newspaper to properly highlight their government's work. Observers are saying that she might have got inspiration by looking at YS Jagan.

In a bid to put full stop to other news channels and news papers that are irking YSR and his party, the late-CM has started his channel and paper. With his son YS Jagan as the captain, the channel still continues to woo Telugu people. The channel is helping YS Jagan a lot to promote more about his newly established YSR party and their petty but serious comments against opposition. It also gives updates about his tours in different areas, which no channel bothers to cover about.

Likewise, Mamata Banerjee can also now use her channel to promote more about them and less about others, say observers. Off course, the opinion of public and leaders about Mamata and YS Jagan are quite contrast, but having media in hand is always a useful weapon.
