CM Kiran Joins Hands With PCC Chief Botsa

Written By CineGlamour on Monday, April 23, 2012 | 8:21 pm

With opposition leader Naidu raising his vociferous statements against Botsa hard, none other than his rival has come to rescue. CM Kiran Kumar took his turn today to knock the anti-Kiran and anti-Botsa statements.

Kiran states that opposition leaders are losing cool as they are not able to make people change their minds about the goodwill they are having on congress. 'With no other reason to attack the government, they are publicizing that there is an internal rift in Congress party and leadership change is inevitable', says Kiran. He asked those anti-forces working against him and Botsa to come up with proofs if they want a stringent answer from them.

Observers are saying that Delhi bosses have given the necessary oxygen for Kiran to counter attack all the opposition in state. If Kiran and Botsa really merged the differences between them, one can expect them to start attacking their anti-groups in the party, first, say analysts.

Line cleared for Chiru's 150th film

Congress high command has given its nod for the re-entry of actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi into film with the landmard (150th) film. Union minister and AICC observer Vayalar Ravi, who was in the state to prepare the party for the upcoming by-polls, stressed the need for Chiru's re-entry.

"Vayalar Ravi insisted me to act in films again. But I conveyed to him that I'm not having the time for films. Then he stressed that sending the message using a powerful medium like cinema will have more impact on the people then political yatras. When he said that people are expecting films from me, I felt it encouraging. I might do a film soon, if a good subject comes my way," said Chiru.

Although several directors were waiting for the golden chance to direct Chiru's 150th film, the Iconic actor is very cautious about the script. He is looking out for a subject which has both commercial elements to entertain his fans and a good message in it to come close to the voters. Two birds in one shot, Right!

Vayalar Ravi Supports CM Kiran In His Report?

Delhi ambassador is finally opening his views about state congress in the presence of Madam Sonia. Though he has spent oodles of time with PCC Chief Botsa and other anti-Kiran leaders, his reports are in favor with CM Kiran only.

According to reports, Vayalar Ravi has informed Madam Sonia that Kiran Kumar is doing well in the post of Chief Minister than his predecessors. Sources say that Vayalar has supported CM's version in the back footing of Congress in Andhra Pradesh. They have identified YSR and YS Jagan as main threats in Congress in AP other than the internal rifts that are messing up the affairs of party. Coming to Kiran's issue, it is almost clear that CM Kiran and his post are immovable now.

Already, things between Kiran and Botsa are solved to an extent, while Deputy CM Damodara Rajanarasimha is out of the scene even before Ravi's arrival in Hyderabad.

YSR Is Not My Leader Anytime :Chiranjeevi

Equations are changing in the mind of Congress MP Megastar Chiranjeevi about using the image of YSR for the benefit of Congress. Chiru directly felt that the day is not far to distance the 'maha neta' name from Congress party.

'He is no more in this world by the time I've entered Congress. YSR is not my leader at all', clarified Chiranjeevi about linking YSR as his leader. However, he stated that YSR is his role model earlier but not now. 'Already, it is found that mistakes are done by YSR and we cannot cover them for a long time. There will be a day where we have to accept all the mistakes done by him' confirms Chiru. He made some sensational comments about YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his misdeeds thereby giving a hint about Congress' stand on this tainted leader.

Though a section of Congress party is against anti-YSR stand, high-command has made it clear to sling mud against Jagan and YSR, says an insider.

Galla Challenges Chiru On Tirupati Ticket

Written By CineGlamour on Sunday, April 22, 2012 | 5:46 pm

Congress minister Galla Aruna Kumari is not leaving any breathing space for Chiranjeevi in connection with Tirupathi MLA ticket. We all know that the seat is vacant after Megastar has shifted to Delhi by gaining RajyaSabha seat.

Galla Aruna Kumari made it clear that she is not going to take backseat irrespective of high pressures for acquiring Tirupati ticket. She made the same thing clear to Chief Minister Kiran Kumar, who is touring Chittoor as part of 'Prajapadam'. Indirectly, the pressure that is making CM to think about Tirupati seat is none other than Chiru.

While Galla is trying for her son Jayadev, Chiru is trying hard for a person from his coterie. Observers are saying that among all the 18 constituencies in the state, Tirupathi may become a hot seat with tug-of-war between these two groups. With Chiru having CM, Botsa and high-command's support a bit high, there are chances for him to have last laugh over Galla Aruna Kumari.

'Jagan Is Playing Politics With Corpse'

Written By CineGlamour on Saturday, April 21, 2012 | 4:53 pm

With Vayalar Ravi pumping the necessary boost in Congress leaders before leaving Hyderabad, they are slowly intensifying there attacks on YSR party chief. Here comes the first set of attacks from a Congress minister against YS Jagan.

'In the name of changing the plight of poor, Jagan is playing politics with the corpse of YSR' accused rural development minister Dokka Manikyavaraprasad. He stated that Congress leaders are having enormous respect towards YSR and demanded Jagan to stop playing these cheap stunts. 'Congress is a holy cow, while Jagan is a useless bull, he compares.

According to minister, bull is of no use except for getting yourself hurt when it attacks you with its horns. But a holy cow always gives pure milk, irrespective of the feed it is given and the treatment it receives. Though our minister's comparison is a bit odd, one thing is clear that attacks are started. Get ready, Mr.Jagan!

Vayalar Ravi Showers Joy On CM's Face

After collecting all the required details from state leaders, ambassador from Delhi has taken back flight. But, before leaving Hyderabad he has a reason to make our Chief Minister bask in joy.

'Congress leaders are more united now, and there is no question of leadership change as we have complete positive report on CM Kiran', said Vayilar Ravi before leaving. Kiran Kumar Reddy is looking pale from the last few weeks not only for the crisis in the state but for the prick under his seat. With Ravi confirming that there is no change in leadership, both Kiran and his rival-cum-friend Botsa are on cloud nine, say insiders.

Rather changing leadership and solving disputes between CM and PCC chief, high-command will now focus on strengthening cadres at elementary level. May be they will think of replacing CM and PCC Chief only after winning by-polls and a change is obvious if Congress bites mud anyway, says a political analyst.

YSR would have been in jail today

Written By CineGlamour on Friday, April 20, 2012 | 10:21 am

Congress senior leader and former Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Thursday said that former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy would have surely been in jail if he were alive for looting thousands of acres of government land.

Describing both YSR and his son Jagan as thieves, VH alleged that statues of the deceased leader were put up all over the state by the young leader with the illegal money amassed during his father's tenure as CM.

"What Chiranjeevi had said about them is right. Both YSR and Jagan should be treated as the branches of the same tree. YSR is a thief and the same applies to Jagan," he said. VH pointed out that Congress failed to counter the allegations made by Jagan against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

'The End' card for CM Kiran

Written By CineGlamour on Thursday, April 19, 2012 | 2:02 pm

The talk in the political circles is that the outcome of the upcoming by-polls will decide the future of chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

After Kiran Kumar Reddy took charge as chief minister, the Congress party failed to win atleast a single seat in any of the by-elections. The upcoming by-polls will be test for Kiran and his longevity as CM will depend on the results. If Kiran fails to make Congress win atleast half of the 18 Assembly seats where the by-elections will be held, then the High Command may choose someone else to replace him.

The by-elections will be held in 18 Assembly constituencies and Nellore Lok Sabha constituency. About 16 of these 18 Assembly seats and the single Lok Sabha seat were won by Congress in the 2009 polls. The other two seats belong to PRP. One of them fell vacant after the disqualification of Shobha Nagi Reddy by Speaker for defy party whip during No Confidence Motion against government and the other fell vacant due to the resignation of Chiru as Turupati MLA after he was nominated to the upper house. Retaining these constituencies will be very crucial for the survival of the party in the state.

Congress targets YSR, dug its own grave

The state Congress leaders strategy to target YS Jagan by questioning the caste and religious of former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy has backfired, as the YSR Congress leaders has launched a counter-attack against AICC chief Sonia Gandhi.

Congress leaders tried to project YSR as a Christian, to woo the strong Reddy community voters who were sailing with Jagan. To counter Congress party's move, now YSR Congress leaders were questioning the nationality of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. "The Congress leaders who are making a hue and cry about the caste and religion of YSR should first question the nationality of their party chief Sonia Gandhi. The true colors of Congress were exposed now with the caste politics they have been playing," said a YSRC leader.

Political analysts say, the dalit-Christians (who were a traditional vote bank of Congress) are angry with the YSR's Christianity issue raised by the Congress party. There are chances that they may distance Congress and join the YSR party in future. Congress has dug its own grave by touching sensitive issue!

'Vayalar Ravi Goes Back With Suitcase'

Off course, any person travelling from such a long distance will carry suitcase that fits all of his files, clothes and accessories. We are not talking about the one he comes with, but the one he takes along from Hyderabad.

TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu accused that any Delhi leader coming here to listen and review the situation of state, goes back with a suitcase in hand, but does nothing. 'Corrupt congress government is selling the welfare of state for their own wellbeing', the opposition leader cracked. Naidu feels that Congress is passing days with its internal fights for power, but not troubleshooting the problems of state. However, his comments are directly taking their target at Vayalar Ravi, who is in state to monitor and control the extreme situations in state congress.

Observers are saying that Naidu is not at all giving a breathing space to Congress, even though they are aiming at doing something good. How big his shouts may be, by-poll win matters!

Vayalar Ravi's soft corner towards YSR

Written By CineGlamour on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 | 8:53 pm

Union minister and Congress High Command's ambassador to the state, Vayalar Ravi, stated that he is against targeting former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy to trouble YSR Congress president YS Jagan.

"YSR is a good friend of mine. It's unfair to corner a person who is no more," he said.

The senior party leader called YS Jagan as boy, hinting that the young leader has just started his political career. He, however, admitted that there is threat to Congress party from him.

Vayalar also clarified that his job is resolve the internal issues in the state Congress and to bring back the party on track, in the wake of by-elections for 18 constituencies. He interacted with several party leaders to assess the situation in the state. On the other hand, complaints poured in from party cadre and leaders.

Chiru Became Vital Force For Congress

When all the leaders of state congress are running to Gandhi Bhavan to meet Vayalar Ravi, he is running to Chiru's house in the name of 'breakfast'. The news has given different signals to Congress cadres in the state and the Delhi's ambassador's talk's added fuel, say observers.

'Congress is going to use the services of Chiru both at State and Central level. He is gonna play a key role between the coordination of cadres in AP', Vayalar said. Though he refused to comment about Chiru's Cabinet Minister post, Ravi stressed that Chiru is a top-leader in Congress as of now. The whole drama has sent shivers in Congress seniors who are writing off Megastar as just another party-worker in Congress.

Presence of PCC Chief at Ravi-Chiru's meet intensified the rumors that Botsa will play a key role in the reorganization of leadership in Andhra Pradesh. However, some are simply scrapping the hype that Vayalar Ravi visited Chiru as a courtesy the he helped the government stabilize with his support during no-confidence motion.

'Delhi Still Considers T-Issue In Lighter Vein'

With high-commands 'dootha' wandering in Hyderabad, T-Cong leaders expected something is in store for them. But, Vayalar Ravi's lighter talk about this burning issue gave them a slap in face.

'That is an old issue, there is nothing new to discuss about it', Vayalar Ravi reacted when asked about T-issue discussion. He is in state to completely understand the situation of AP and AP Congress. 'I know that problem and T-cong leaders spoke to me in Delhi about it', he later patched up his words. T-leaders are saying that Congress is worried about the outcome of by-polls in the 18 constituencies but not any other issue.

'Congress' Delhi leaders are still taking T-issue in a lighter vein and they will pay a price for it in the coming general elections', TRS leaders said. What looks like the main agenda of Congress is resolving differences between Botsa and CM Kiran and making the party victorious in by-polls. Surprisingly, Kiran will not be available in Hyderabad for the next two days too. So, what Botsa and Vayalar Ravi will plan in Gandhi Bhavan is to be seen!
