Dammu beats Racha by huge margin!

NTR's summer release Dammu has already started showing signs of creating a tsunami at the box office. The film is going to release in record number of theaters across the globe. Dammu is going to be screened in almost all the screens in Guntur and Vijayawada on the first day, except for the theaters playing Racha.

Dammu is all set to create new record for release centers in Karnataka state. Recently a GO was passed lifting away the limitations of other language films release in Karnataka. Racha was the first to be benefitted with it. It was released in about hundred theaters in Karnataka on first day. Due to gigantic release, Racha raked in more than 2 crores share in first week from Karnataka alone.

Now Dammu is going to release in more than 150 theaters in Karnataka thus beating Racha record by a huge margin. If Dammu gets positive talk then the first week share from Karnataka will be huge. Odds are fully in positive of Dammu to set a new record in opening day collections. If everything is in its favor, it will beat Racha first week collections record to be the numero uno in first week records.

Pressure On Boyapati For Budget Recovery

Boyapati Seenu has become a sought after mass-director to deal with action oriented mass movies in the likes of VV Vinayak. His latest movie's producers are said to be forcing him a bit to recover the whole budget.

While it is known to everyone that Boyapati's previous three films, Bhadra, Tulasi and Simha are stupendous hits, reports say a different angle about them. Other than 'Simha', his rest two movies have incurred losses for distributors in a couple of places. Insiders are saying that his upcoming movie 'Dammu' producers are pressurizing him to trim the second half of this flick. Say it 'Bhadra' or 'Tulasi', both go a bit over board regarding sentiment and this may not work with Jr.NTR, the producer has felt like.

It is heard that the producers of 'Dammu' are leaving no stone unturned to recover their complete investment in first week itself irrespective of movie's fate. Critics feel that forcing a director to do some unsatisfied cuts for the sake of budget recovery may not go well. When director looses pace of his movie with these trimmings, results may come out different. Wait for 'Dammu' to know more.

'Dammu' Hyderabad Theaters list

Dammu movie is all set to release on April 27 and will join the summer season. NTR Jr. played the lead role in this film directed by Boyapati Srinu. Trisha and Karthika are the heroines and KS Rama Rao is the producer.

Understandably, Dammu is having a large scale release in all the territories as it was sold for high rates. Buyers are doing their best to squeeze as much as they can before other competitors come in its way. As of now, 200 theaters were confirmed in Nizam area out of which 55 theatres are in Hyderabad city alone. This number is likely to shoot up in the coming days.

Jr.NTR Plans To Protect Nandamuri Fans

It is the responsibility of a hero to protect his fans as they are the ones who protect the image of their heartthrob actor in real life. Though no hero is taking care of their fans these days, Jr.NTR is worried about a particular cause and hence the 'protection'.

According to grapevine, Junior is said to be worried about the splitting Nandamuri fan base. With Balayya not doing flicks properly and other Nandamuri heroes also discouraging them a lot, it is heard that they are highly disappointed. Especially, some caste based admirers are heard shifting loyalties to either Mahesh Babu or Naga Chaitanya. Shockingly, some are extending their stupendous support to Powerstar Pawan Kalyan without falling prey for casteism.

To stop these migrations, Jr.NTR is now focusing on his fans associations to strengthen their liking for Nandamuri family. Jr.NTR’s most anticipated film Dammu has wrapped up the censor formalities and is set for a release on April 27 on a grand scale in record number of theaters.

Boyapati Srinu who is riding high with 100% success rate has wielded the megaphone for Dammu.

The New top 4 of Tollywood

NTR, ANR, Krishna and Sobhan Babu are the first generation superstars of Telugu cinema. After them Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh stood pillars to the second generation. NTR got punished with 'A' for refusing cuts

Jr NTR's action entertainer Dammu has completed its censor formalities on Thursday. The film was awarded an 'A' certificate, as the makers refused for the cuts suggested by members of the board.

According to the censor officials, the film contains several scenes with extreme violence, bloodshed and provoking dialogues. So, the members have suggested many cuts for issuing an U/A certificate. However, Dammu team refused to chop the scenes as it wouldn't go down well with the masses and so they are forced to settle with an 'A'. This A certificate will have an impact on the overall collections, as the family audience prefer to stay away from such films.

Huge expectations were riding on the film and the theatrical trailer received tremendous response. Three more trailers will be released starting from 20th of this month as part of the promotional campaign. A massive release of the film have been planned on April 27th worldwide. Nandamuri fans were hoping that NTR will regain his lost glory with Dammu. Let's hope there wish comes true!

•     The movie starts from some flash back note which happened  long back.
•     The story turns towards the present situation and enters the city. The first 40 minutes of the movie goes in an entertaining way with out and out comedy.
•     The movie heads to the interval bang with a mighty twist which is said to be the turning point of this movie. The interval bang is the highlight of the movie where Tarak completely exploded his acting skills with his roaring performance.
•     The story starts gripping from the second half filled with the family emotions. Scenes between Tarak, Abhinaya and Venu got well.
•     Pre-Climax is quite interesting and heads to the climax with the wild rage of revenge drama.
•     Aggressive expressions of Tarak are fabulous. His expressions are just like never before and never after.
•     Climax is extraordinary and finally movie is going to end with the great applause.

Off the screen:

•     The movie unit faced some problems from Censor Board members during some scenes.
•     The movie faced 3 audio cuttings totally which the unit was advised to replace the dialogues.
•     The Censor Board members requested to play the 'Ruler' Song for twice as they had fallen in love with the visuals of that song.
•     Appreciations received to Tarak from members for his action. It was said that he looked more glamorous in 'Vaasthu Baagundhe' Song.
•     Some scenes in the movie had stolen the heart of members which were played twice. 

Highlights of the Movie:

• No, doubt the first credit should be awarded to the Young Tiger itself for his 'Viswaroopam'. This movie is going to be the another one man show movie of this year.
• Director Boyapati Seenu just rocked away all the aspects in this movie. There is a great improvement of comedy in this movie compared to his previous movies.
• 'Ruler' song is the back bone of this movie. The visuals of the song are going to be anther creative wonder in the tollywood.
• M.M.Keeravani's Background music is the asset of the movie. His high voltage music during the pre-climax will not make the audience to sit in their seats.
• All the technicians proved themselves up to their mark.

Negatives of the Movie:

    As NTR has mighty following in the mass audience, this movie is completely for them. Though this movie had mixed with some family emotions over-violence may affect the family audience.
    Trisha just looked like aunty again. Her pair with Tarak was not too good. Indeed Tarak dominated her with this glamour itself in this movie.

'Baadshah' creating trouble for 'Dammu'

Young tiger Junior NTR is currently gearing up to arrive with the most talked about movie 'Dammu' and the film is going for a censor certificate in a day or two. However, the cine analysts are saying that the other project of NTR seems to be causing an indirect trouble for 'Dammu'.

We are talking about the film 'Baadshah' which is being directed by the jackpot hit director Srinu Vaitla. Apparently, the film is yet to commence shooting and already there is a good wave of hype being created. Due to this, the analysts believe that the focus and attention on 'Dhammu' is getting diverted.

They are suggesting that it is better 'Baadshah' holds its breath till 'Dammu' releases on April 27th and then it can take off with its hype creating exercise. 'Dammu' is directed by Boyapati Srinu and it is produced by Alexander Vallabha. The leading ladies are Trisha and Kartheeka.

NTR throws kerchief on Racha director

Well, any director who delivers a blockbuster with a top hero can rest assured that they would get a call from young NTR. NTR always runs after success and successful film formulas to bag hits. He tried to recreate the magic of Pokiri and Magadheera with Kantri and Shakti respectively. Needless to say about the fate of those films at the box office.

However, that didn't stop NTR from following the 'hit' trend. He signed Boyapati Srinu after Simha and Srinu Vytla after Dookudu. NTR’s 'Dammu' to be censored on Apr 20 or 21

Young Tiger NTR’s latest movie 'Dammu' is gearing up for April 27th release. As 27th is a friday, first week of this movie will have seven days with record no of prints giving scope to rake in extra bucks. Producer K  S Ramarao is being aggressive in his promotional campaign. Boyapati Srinu is the director. 

Dammu is likely to cross the last hurdle prior to release on April 20th or 21st. The movie will be censored on any of these days. Trisha and Karthika paired up with NTR for the first time in this movie. Recently released Dammu trailers are raising high hopes on the film. Audio songs are already rocking the charts and Nandamuri fans with positive  reviews.

'Chammak Challo' Effect For Jr.NTR's Film

The hit Bollywood number from Shahrukh Khan's 'Ra.One' still reverbs in the ears of Tollywood folks. Good news is that we are soon going to witness that in a Telugu movie and that too Jr.NTR's.

'Chammak Challo' is popular not just for SRK, Kareena or the foot tapping music. With internationally famous American singer Akon rendering his voice, the song gained lot of prominence. Now, Tollywood's talented and busiest music director Thaman wants to rope him in to recreate the magic of 'Chammak Challo'. Jr.NTR's 'Baadshah' will be on top priority to rope in Akon, while there are Ram Charan's and Venkatesh's movie also in his hand, say insiders.

This idea of Thaman has excited the director of film, Sreenu Vytla, and asked him to do it immediately though it is a bit pricy. One can expect a lightning bolt from this song with Thaman's music, Akon's voice and Junior's dances mixed together.

NTR's 'Badshah' in songs recording

Young Tiger Jr NTR's new movie 'Badshah' under Srinu vaitla direction was launched in last month and in away to start its regular shoot from May 15th. The unit is planning a 50days long schedule in Italy as first schedule. Kajal Agarwal is acting as the heroine for the second time with NTR.  

Now the news is that the movie songs recording is going on in Chennai. Music director Thaman shared the information regarding this in a social net work web site like ' Completing 2 nd & the title song for BADSHAH :) :) really excited to be back with NTR & seeenuvaitla Gaaru :) :) 

Ganesh Babu is producing this movie on Parameswara arts banner. Badshah will be finished at a rapid pace and would be ready for release by Dussera.   

NTR - Puri Movie titled 'Ramu'

We all know that Sensational director Puri Jagannath is set to direct Young Tiger NTR in a new film. The film will start rolling from September 18, 2012. Now the news is that Puri is considering 'Ramu' title for this film as the title sounds Good as well as catchy because earlier Sr NTR and Balakrishna did movies with the same .

The buzz says that even NTR is happy with the title. Official announcement regarding the title is awaited. NTR is currently busy with Dammu movie which is slated for April 27th. He will move on to ‘Badshah’ shortly. This film is being produced by Bandla Ganesh under Parameswara Arts banner. Kajal is roped in as the heroine for this film.

Entire shooting of NTR- Puri film will be done in America. Bandla Ganesh is the producer of this film. Heroine and other star cast are yet to be finalized. Puri is planing to release this movie for Pongal, 2013.

NTR is the next Number 1

In January, when Mahesh broke records with Businessman, right after scoring a blockbuster with Dookudu, many felt that he is the next number one hero of Tollywood after Chiranjeevi. When Mahesh fans firmly believe in their star's potential and when other heroes fans are slowly getting convinced by it, in came Racha and the debate about number one is on again.

Ram Charan posed serious doubts to the people who have written him off from the number one race. With a very weak script and an almost unknown director Ram Charan pulled off a mega heist at the box office with Racha. This shows his caliber and crowd pulling capabilities. Now who all have given full credit to Rajamouli for Magadheera's success are giving Ram Charan his due. As of now anybody among Mahesh, Pawan, NTR and Charan can be the next number one.

Only thing that counts is consistency. Mahesh never delivered more than couple of hits in a row. Pawan used to be immensely consistent in the past and NTR's biggest weakness has been inconsistency. Charan needs to deliver a series of hits to be up there. Until then whoever breaks the first week records with their star power will be considered the number 1 until some other hero come and breaks it. NTR is in the queue and stands a big chance to be the next number one as per this theory. All he needs is a 30+ crore share in the first week!

'Dammu' Finalizes NTR's Berth In TDP?

Jr.NTR is staying away from Telugudesam Party's affairs from a long time. Though reasons are not known behind his staying back, insiders revealed that everything is now linked with the fate of 'Dammu'.

More than their policy making skills and political gaming abilities, actors are very best at pulling crowds for meetings. Junior too did his bit during 2009 election campaigning, but failed to woo the voters. The loss of TDP in that election might have kept him at bay. Insiders say that if he scores as a mass leader with 'Dammu' and the film becomes huge hit, there are chances for him then to take party's canvassing job back on shoulders.

Jr.NTR's political career is now directly linked to the potential of 'Dammu', if at all he wants to do something with politics. Rumors are abuzz in industry that Junior wants to keep off from politics for the next couple of years. Let us see what happens!

Mahesh gives heavy jolt to 'Ruler' NTR!

Jr. NTR will be starring in the film Baadshah under the direction of Srinu Vytla. This title has been getting tremendous response from NTR fans as it is very powerful. Buzz has it that this title was registered for Mahesh Babu. With Dookudu his fans fondly called him Box office Baadshah and it would have been perfect had he done the film with this title.

Jr Ntr Is Just Excited About Two New Films

NTR’s much awaited film ‘Badshah’ in the combination of director Srinu Vaitla and producer Ganesh Babu is expected to hit floors very soon.

This Parameshwara Arts’ action entertainer will be mainly shot in Italy and other parts of Europe. Kajal Agarwal is pairing up with NTR once again. SS Thaman will score the music.
Both Kajal and Thaman earlier worked with NTR in ‘Brindavanam’. While he appears to be excited about this project, on the other hand he is also very curious about the release of his latest film ‘Dammu’.
