Daruvu Muted for Gabbar Singh Kevvu Keka

Massraja Raviteja took a backseat and postponed the release of his masala flick 'Daruvu' to pave the way for the massive release of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's mass entertainer 'Gabbar Singh' (release date 10th or 11th).

Although the film was being planned to hit screens on May 4th, due to the understanding between the producers of summer releases the release has been postponed to May 18th. Now, the producers have decided to maintain a healthy gap between the release each others films to avoid the possibility of one film eating up the revenues of the other.

The delay in the release of 'Daruvu' will also benefit Young Tiger NTR's Dammu (release date 27th) as it will have no competition at the Box Office for atleast two weeks, that's till the release of Gabbar Singh. And if Gabbar Singh hits the bulls eye, Daruvu will be postponed further. Will Pawan's magic works this time? Mega Fans, keep your fingers crossed!

Vidya Balan's key role in 'Daruvu'

The sensuous Brahmin beauty Vidya Balan has got a strong presence in the Bollywood circuit and she has proved that she doesn't need a hero to score success at the box office. Now, it is heard that Vidya Balan is part of the new Telugu movie 'Daruvu' starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja.

Well, the story goes that the film has got a character being essayed by the super comedian Brahmanandam. This is the role of a dance master and the name is Vidya Balan. Brahmi has got a full length role in the film alongside Ravi Teja and it is heard that he has come up with a hilarious treat.

Ravi Teja is pairing up with the milky thigh beauty Taapsee and the film has been directed by Shiva. As such, the combo of Ravi Teja- Brahmi worked really well for films like 'Krishna' 'Kick' and others. With the Mass Maharaja going through a lot of flops, let us hope 'Vidya Balan' comes to the rescue.

Raviteja's 'Nadumu' Sentiment In 'Daruvu'

Every hero and director will have certain sentiments, especially certain good things happened to them in a superhit movie. With most of his films failing at Box Office in the recent past, Mass Raja is heard resorting to few sentiments for his upcoming movie.

Raviteja is all set to rock the tinsel town with his 'Daruvu' now. Irrespective of the old-wine talk engulfing this movie, our mass-hero is said to be banking on few sentiments. Of all such things, his 'nadumu' sentiment holds the top place. Ravi has earlier done nice hand work on the waists of his heroines in Vikramarkudu, Dubai Seenu and Mirapakai. Anushka, Nayantara and Richa Gangopadhyay got their sleek part man-handled by him to raise mercury levels. He is now repeating this by squeezing the slender waist of our spicy heroine Taapsee in 'Daruvu'.

On the other hand, T-agitators who are demanding for a title change are also giving good publicity to the film. How his sentiments work out for him this time remains to be seen!

Mass Maharaja Raviteja enters politics!

Raviteja, who is fondly known as Mass Maharaj, is all set to enter politics! No, he is not entering into 'real' politics, but will be seen doing 'reel' politics. Raviteja plays the role of a minister in the movie Daruvu. This film is a socio fantasy made in the lines of Yamudiki Mogudu. Director Shiva of Souryam fame is directing it.

Although politics sound a bit serious concept for a Raviteja's film, the director treated the movie in a comic fashion it seems. Raviteja will be at his energetic best in this socio fantasy comedy. Taapsee is playing the female lead. The buzz from film nagar says that Raviteja is going to take digs at politics and politicians in Daruvu in his own inimitable style.

Raviteja, who has been running through rough patch for a while is expecting Daruvu to give him a break from the flop streak. As per insider's talk the film has come out well and has ample elements to impress the masses and Raviteja fans. So dear folks buckle up for Raviteja's fun ride.

T-agitators disrupt Raviteja's Daruvu

The Telangana agitators on Wednesday disrupted the audio launch of Raviteja's mass entertainer Daruvu at Prasads Labs. A group of people shouting slogans stormed the venue and demanding the change in the film's title. Initially, the film unit was shocked with this unexpected development but after a while they recovered from it and showed the exit doors to the pro-Telangana activists.

The T-activists stated that the word 'Daruvu' got a significance and has connection to the revolutionaries and balladeers. "Using the same word as the title of a mass masala flick is strictly objectionable," said an activist.

Ravi Teja, who is in Bangkok for the shoot of Puri Jagannath's flick 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu', gave a miss to the audio release function. Film's female lead Tapsee, Director Siva, Jayasudha, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore and music director Vijay Anthony graced the event.

This is the first time that Shiva and Raviteja are coming together for 'Daruvu' and people are eagerly waiting to see how this combination gets going. Raviteja's Daruvu turns Baruvu for producers!

Raviteja was considered as one of the safe bet heroes in Telugu cinema until a year ago. But a series of flop movies raised enough doubts on him to the buyers. Raviteja's downfall started with Dongala Mutha, a film that Raviteja should've never done. Later it was followed up by Veera which was a bigger debacle in terms of financial returns.

Earlier this year Raviteja tasted the flop of his career with Nippu. With this movie, Raviteja lost the trust of audience as well as business circles. Previously Raviteja used to be the savior for films with average content. With growing age and declining energy levels, he is not the same Raviteja now. Being monotonous is showing ominous signs already.

His upcoming film Daruvu has no takers in few key regions. A year ago his films used to sell like hot cakes. But times have changed now and how fast! Daruvu is turning out to be Baruvu for its producers as buyers are not showing any interest in this film with so many biggies in the fray. They will have to wait for the right time or should release the film on their own if they want to take advantage of summer holidays. That should be risky unless Daruvu is a minimum guarantee mass film. 

Hot Legged Heroine Limits To RC

These are the times where high profile successes are vanishing out just like that. Even after scoring few hit films and points for her striking figure, sexy long legged beauty Deeksha Seth is still finding difficult to paddle.

'Vedam' showcased a percent of this wild chick's tempting beauty and 'Mirapakaya' unleashed the sexy angle in her. But, her solo heroine films like 'Wanted' and 'Nippu' met with disastrous fate at BO, marking her as an iron leg. With no other options in hand, Deeksha is now limiting herself to 'Ribbon Cuttings'. The pretty lass is said to be charging a decent amount for gracing shop openings and product launch events. Other than 'Rebel' and 'Oo Kodathara Ulikki Padathara', there are no projects in her hand at the moment.

In 'Rebel' she is donning the role of a second fiddle and no doubt milky beauty Tamanna dominates her being the lead. In UKUP, Deeksha's role is limited to sexposing in songs and much of the story revolves between Manoj, Lakshmi Prasanna and Balayya. Let us see if Deeksha's fate turns or not!

'Daruvu' Trailer Disappoints Fans

Even before they are recovering from the severe blow of 'Nippu', Mass Maharaja's fans have another reason now to upset. Much awaited teaser of 'Daruvu' is released at present and check out the first talk about it.

Mass Maharaj Raviteja, despite of his high octane energy levels once again delivered the same old stuff. His walks, looks and dialogue delivery resembled 'Mirapakai', 'Don Seenu' and 'Nippu' once again. 'We've expected something different in this movie. But, it looks like same mass stuff he is doing from the last few years', a diehard fan of Raviteja said. The only dialogue in the teaser, 'Nenu kerchief vesina ammayi joliki..evvadaina vastey... okkokkadiki.. da..da da. da.. daruvey!!' failed to reach the expectations, but masses liked it.

However, this season is yielding different results in Tollywood. Already, 'Racha' is showing its potential at BO despite critics ruling it out as a mass-commercial movie with logic less scenes and age old story. 'Dammu' is also expected on the same lines and 'Daruvu' follows it. Let's wait for the release of this movie to know its actual fate.

"Sir Vastaru" is the Raviteja’s new film title!

Crazy hero Raviteja will soon team up with a director Parasuram for a new project. Parusuram has earlier directed the films like Yuvatha, Solo and Anjaneyulu movie with Raviteja.Now the duo Anjaneyulu and Raviteja are teaming up for a new project.
 
Now the latest buzz is that director Parusuram has chosen a title "Sir Vasataru" for his new film with Raviteja. Sir Vastarostara is a popular song from Mahesh Babu’s Businessman movie, now the director Parusuram has chosen this catchy lyric as a title for his new project.

Another buzz is that Nayanatara is under consideration as heroine opposite Raviteja for this new film. The film Sir Vastaru will goes on to the sets from July and it will be produced by Ashwini Dutt.

Gopichand planing his next movie with Ravi Teja

Ravi Teja introduced Gopichand Malineni with Don Sinu and now he is planning to do second movie with Mass Maharaja. There was news about Raviteja doing a film under  Gopichand Malineni under PVP cinema banner who earlier produced vikram's 'Vidinte'.

Kona Venkat is penning the script for this movie . Kona met Raviteja on the sets of Devudu Chesina Manushulu and narrated a single line subject to Ravi to which the star accepted immediately. Kona himself leaked this information through a social network and the remaining details will be announced soon.

Ravi Teja has agreed to do films with Parasuram, Meher Ramesh and Harish Shankar. So when will he start Gopichand Malineni’s film is to be seen. Wait for the concrete information regarding this project.    

Terrified Raviteja runs to safe zone

Mass Maharaja Raviteja is not having a good time at the box office in the recent past. He tasted a disastrous flop streak after Mirapakaya. Recently released Nippu did more damage to his credentials. Dongala Mutha kicked off his bad period and it was followed up by Veera. With Nippu Raviteja raised many doubts among the business circles.

Raviteja wanted to clear away all the doubts on him and his films with Daruvu. He tried to release Daruvu as early as possible after Nippu was released. But that didn't happen and Daruvu producer announced that it will release on May 4th. As of now there is no further update on the film. Buzz says that Daruvu was indefinitely postponed for now.

With Dammu, Gabbar Singh, Eega and few other notable films lined up for release, Raviteja is aiming for a much safer zone to release his film. Earlier Raviteja used to pull off films with average talk. But after Nippu, an average talk won't do. Hence fearing heavy competition from all the above movies, Daruvu is pushed to June/July release.
