Bhanu pocketed Rs 200 crore with YSR's project

Written By CineGlamour on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 | 6:32 am

The Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials have revealed that Bhanu incurred a gain of Rs 200 crore in Handri-Neeva project. This is done by taking contracts and sub-contracts of the project using benami names.

Although Bhanu has done several deals without Suri's knowledge, the investments in Handri-Neeva were made following the orders of his leader. Using his good contacts with former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Suri acquired the contracts of the project. The Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi project is intended to provide irrigation facility to four districts in the Rayalaseema region. Late YSR laid the foundation stone for this mega project.

The money earned through land settlements was invested in this project. If Suri and his gang could earn Rs 200 crore in a single project, how much would be their total assets worth! A through investigation by the CID officials will expose many shocking facts about the atrocities of this dangerous gang.

YSR Is Not My Leader Anytime :Chiranjeevi

Written By CineGlamour on Monday, April 23, 2012 | 5:43 am

Equations are changing in the mind of Congress MP Megastar Chiranjeevi about using the image of YSR for the benefit of Congress. Chiru directly felt that the day is not far to distance the 'maha neta' name from Congress party.

'He is no more in this world by the time I've entered Congress. YSR is not my leader at all', clarified Chiranjeevi about linking YSR as his leader. However, he stated that YSR is his role model earlier but not now. 'Already, it is found that mistakes are done by YSR and we cannot cover them for a long time. There will be a day where we have to accept all the mistakes done by him' confirms Chiru. He made some sensational comments about YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his misdeeds thereby giving a hint about Congress' stand on this tainted leader.

Though a section of Congress party is against anti-YSR stand, high-command has made it clear to sling mud against Jagan and YSR, says an insider.

Punch To Jagan: Vijaysai's Bail Cancelled!

Written By CineGlamour on Friday, April 20, 2012 | 4:46 pm

After hearing the arguments of both sides for a couple of days, High Court has finally cancelled the bail issued to Vijayasai Reddy in connection with Jagan's illegal assets case.

Vijayasai Reddy, the A2 accused in Jagan's illegal assets case was granted a bail by the CBI Court a week ago on April 13th. High Court has agreed with CBI's counter petition that this tainted auditor can tamper the witnesses and other evidences against him, if he is outside. Earlier CBI court granted a bail on the grounds that he is kept in jail for more than 104 days and he alone was arrested leaving all other accused. CBI lawyers argued that the lower court granted bails on the grounds of merit, but they haven't identified the intensity of this case to nail this auditor.

However, Vijayasai's lawyers have still objections with High Court's ruling and it may take few hours to get the copy of final orders. Once orders are released, Vijayasai Reddy should surrender in jail a couple of days.

Roja's Eligibility To Remark Chiru

Once upon a time she is a hot girl to shake her leg aside acting legend Megastar Chiranjeevi. Now that she is into politics and also senior to Chiru here, Roja is taking potshots at him in Tirupati. However, people are discussing widely about her eligibility to remark megastar's deeds.

'Chiru has sold out his party for money. To cover-up his inefficiency to run Prajarajyam, he has merged it with Congress', Roja accused Chiru at a press meet in Tirupathi. Being a leader of YSR Congress, she is using all possible weapons to bring down the fame of Chiru in temple town. However, people are heard not taking her words seriously. 'Roja joined politics through Chandrababu. When TDP had lost in the elections, she took the flag of Congress.

With Jagan starting a party after YSR's death to become Chief minister, she took YSR Congress teertham', a noted observer felt. They say that Roja is not eligible to remark Chiru as he is not shifting loyalties and changing parties from time to time. Though Megastar has taken a backseat with Prajarajyam, people still have their support for him, it looks.

'YSR Forced T-Leaders To Shut Mouth'

Written By CineGlamour on Thursday, April 19, 2012 | 9:33 pm

Many unknown and unheard things are coming to light with respect to late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. If top brass of Congress are still encircling YSR's aura, some T-leaders are not taking time to rip his deeds.

Congress T-leader and BC Welfare Minister Basavaraju Saarayya has come down heavily on late chief minister. 'YSR is an anti-Telangana leader and phoned me several times to warn me for conduction pro-T meetings', he stressed. He says that he was not given a ministry then only because of opposing YSR's views. Saarayya not only ripped the fame of YSR but also lashed out at TRS. 'When I started a Telangana forum long back, there is no such party called TRS', he highlights.

Observers say that T-agitation is all silent during YSR regime only because of his iron hand in controlling each and every politician from this region. One has to agree with words of Sarayya now, it seems. Anyways, Congress leader Damodar has countered Saarayya's words by saying YSR is never against Telangana formation.

Congress targets YSR, dug its own grave

The state Congress leaders strategy to target YS Jagan by questioning the caste and religious of former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy has backfired, as the YSR Congress leaders has launched a counter-attack against AICC chief Sonia Gandhi.

Congress leaders tried to project YSR as a Christian, to woo the strong Reddy community voters who were sailing with Jagan. To counter Congress party's move, now YSR Congress leaders were questioning the nationality of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. "The Congress leaders who are making a hue and cry about the caste and religion of YSR should first question the nationality of their party chief Sonia Gandhi. The true colors of Congress were exposed now with the caste politics they have been playing," said a YSRC leader.

Political analysts say, the dalit-Christians (who were a traditional vote bank of Congress) are angry with the YSR's Christianity issue raised by the Congress party. There are chances that they may distance Congress and join the YSR party in future. Congress has dug its own grave by touching sensitive issue!

Vayalar Ravi's soft corner towards YSR

Written By CineGlamour on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 | 8:53 pm

Union minister and Congress High Command's ambassador to the state, Vayalar Ravi, stated that he is against targeting former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy to trouble YSR Congress president YS Jagan.

"YSR is a good friend of mine. It's unfair to corner a person who is no more," he said.

The senior party leader called YS Jagan as boy, hinting that the young leader has just started his political career. He, however, admitted that there is threat to Congress party from him.

Vayalar also clarified that his job is resolve the internal issues in the state Congress and to bring back the party on track, in the wake of by-elections for 18 constituencies. He interacted with several party leaders to assess the situation in the state. On the other hand, complaints poured in from party cadre and leaders.

YSR's Close Friend revolt against Congress

Written By CineGlamour on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 | 7:25 pm

If senior Congress MP Sai Pratap's revolt against the leadership for ordering him to launch attack against his close friend and former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy is any indication, he will soon bid adieu to his parent party and join the YSR Congress party floated by YS Jagan.

Sai Pratap, earlier, made it clear that he will not campaign for the party in the upcoming by-polls in his Rajampet Parliament constituency and also threatened to quit Congress if he was forced to abuse YSR. "I willn't hesitate to quit party or politics, If I was asked to attack YSR," said Sai Pratap, who is unhappy with some of the Congress leaders for branding YSR as 'anti-dalit'.

Congress party and cadre were worried with the stand of the MP, as this will surely affect the prospects of the party. Winning chances of Congress candidates was bleak as Sai Pratap belongs to the strong 'Balija' community in the constituency. On the other hand, Jagan has invited Sai Pratap to join his party and has been constantly in touch with him.

Sai Pratap was elected six times to Lok Sabha and also worked as Union Cabinet Minister in the past. His exit will be a big blow to the ruling Congress.

JC Invokes Caste-Card To Suppress Jagan

Congress leader JC Diwakar Reddy finally succeeded in invoking Caste-card to suppress the growing craze for YS Jagan. He is all ready to start 'Reddy Pariwar' to make all the cadres of Congress belonging to that community walk in a line.

'We are planning to arrange Reddy Pariwar to assemble all the party cadres and top brass that belong to Reddy community. As most of our leaders are busy with Praja Padham, we'll hold meeting after 20th of this month', said JC Diwakar Reddy. The main intention of this summit is to prove that Jagan is not a part of their community, as he is a Christian by birth. 'I'll take complete responsibility to ensure all Reddys of state continue in Congress', he adds.

Observers say that Reddy-Pariwar will be a second blow to Jagan, as KA Paul is already on fire to split up Christian community votes. On the flip side, CM and his anti-groups including JC Diwakar Reddy and DL Ravindra Reddy too hail from same community and a patch up looks impossible. Will this Reddy-card really helps Congress?

'Only Vijayasai Reddy Can Trouble Investigation'

The investigating agency of Jagan's illegal assets has prepared all guns to get back the released auditor into its custody again. They have shocked everyone including Court, with their answers regarding cancellation of Vijaysai Reddy's bail.

CBI has lodged its counter petition to cancel the bail of YS Jagan's financial advisor and auditor Vijayasai Reddy. He is the second accused (A2) in CBI's charge sheet in Jagan's illegal assets case. When the court questioned as to why they have nabbed only Vijaysai leaving all other accused in charge sheet, investigation agency responded firmly.

'Only Vijaysai alone has the capacity to cause hurdles to the course of investigation. We've enough evidences to support our argument', said CBI. Court has adjourned the proceedings to Wednesday, while CBI is fully confident that Vijayasai's bail will be cancelled soon.

CM Kiran Doing A 'YSR-Stunt' Now!

Written By CineGlamour on Monday, April 16, 2012 | 4:47 pm

Chief Minister is adapting more and more ways of late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy to make Congress victorious at any cost. His each and every step is remembrance of YSR's strategy before 2004 polls.

Not only he is showering gifts on people, he is following them to their homes to check how various government's welfare schemes are getting implemented.  At every colony he visits, at every house he graces, CM is received warmly and he too is promising them roads and facilities without any second thought. Scenes like people giving him coconunt water and thriving to shake their hands with him became a common sight like in Rajasekhara Reddy's 2004 'paada yatra'.

While a decision is yet to be made regarding using YSR's image, Kiran is using this as an option basing on the people around him. Most of the time, he is staying neutral about ex-CM though he is bashing out Jagan and TDP chief Chandrababu. Senior leaders of party are shocked with these crowd pulling stunts of Kiran and are worried if by chance Congress wins in these by-polls, he will get full credit.

TDP Laughs At Jagan's Prediction

Jagan's tour in Srikakulam has led to some shocking predictions by him making the opposition especially Telugudesam, laugh at him. They are saying that Jagan will mesmerize AP's people and sells the state to someone else.

'Within a year, mid-term polls will come for sure and you have vote for YSR-Congress such that we'll win all 294 assembly seats in state', Jagan pleaded the voters at his yatra. But, is it really possible for him to contest in all 294 seats and win is the real question. Political observers say that even a false promise and wish should have a conviction, while Jagan's words are completely foolishness. Telugudesam party people are firing that Jagan is making fun of backward sections in Srikakulam area, to which he is addressing all these demands.

'Already he joined hands with TRS and how come he can contest 294 seats', a TDP party worker quipped. On the other hand, one can read between the lines in a different way too. Jagan's stress on 294 seats indicates that he is supporting a 'Samaikya Andhra'. Only Jagan knows the truth behind his words!

'Jalayagnam' Is YSR's Costliest Corruption

More than 35000 crore rupees are said to be defrauded by YSR's government under 'Jalayagnam', an ambitious irrigation scheme. CAG report copy obtained through Right To Information act is revealing many interesting things.

According to CAG reports, abnormalities are present right from the starting of this scheme in 2004. Rather fixing the standard rates by government, works were given away on a basis where payment will be made in lump sum by approximating the work done. A major irregularity was found among the surveys conducted during the initiation of these irrigation projects. For example, in Chevella project, 968 crores were spent on surveys unlike the scheduled 250 crores. Companies like SEW, Maytas and Ramky have received a 6-7 times excessive amounts for survey in contrast to the amount listed for spending.

Speaking about this, Independent MLA Nagam stated that 'Jalayagnam is the top scam done by fraudulent YSR'. Opposition parties already submitted their 'Public Accounts Committee' report about Jalayagnam to the speaker and it is yet to be made public. Can Congress still float their ship with YSR's photo even after making this news public?

If YSR Is Thief, What About his Ministers?

Written By CineGlamour on Sunday, April 15, 2012 | 3:58 pm

While beneficiaries are claiming that YSR is god, non-beneficiaries are not sitting calm when it comes to attacking YSR. TDP is getting benefitted by the whole scenario and one can understand this listening to Chandrababu Naidu's words.

'For all the corruptive decisions made in YSR regime, the whole cabinet will be responsible. If YSR is a thief, so are his ministers', states Chandrababu. He came hard on Congress for attacking just YSR and saving the face of other close-aides of him who shared a decent pie in looting state. 'One cannot just say that YSR is great and Jagan looted the state. Can the father and son do that without the support of these ministers?', the TDP supremo feels. From Congress side, leaders are still struck between YSR and Jagan.

Should YSR be projected as the savior of Congress party or should he be seen as someone who looted the state along with his son, are the questions still haunting Congress and benefitting Telugudesam.

'YSR's corruption - 100 times bigger than 2G Scam'

Written By CineGlamour on Friday, April 13, 2012 | 10:27 pm

TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu on Friday alleged that the corruption of former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy is 100 times bigger than 2G Scam, which incurred Rs 1.76 lakhs crore loss to the government.

"During YSR's tenure as CM, a massive corruption took place. It's 100 times bigger than 2G Scam. The amassed huge wealth through SEZs (special economic zones), Mining Deals, Liquor Sydicate and Land Mafia," said Babu, who is touring in Uttar Andhra for the ensuing by-poll campaign.

The TDP Chief accused YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy of using the illegal money to become the chief minister of the state. He opined that Congress learders are fearing to target YSR, as they were also involved in the corruption.

Cong in dilemma over YSR legacy

Ahead of the crucial byelections to one Lok Sabha and 18 assembly seats, the ruling Congress in Andhra Pradesh is in a big dilemma over whether to criticise late chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy or praise him.

Facing a tough battle in the polls, which are expected in May-June, the Congress appears confused on its agenda with party leaders publicly airing divergent views. While one section wants the party not to spare YSR for "corruption", the other has warned the leadership that hitting out at the late leader would be suicidal.

The ruling party, on the one hand, faces YSR's son Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy who is targeting it for neglecting the welfare schemes launched by his father while, on the other, it will have to confront the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which is highlighting the alleged corruption scandals of the former chief minister.

A section of Congress leaders, including YSR's brother Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, feels the party will not get votes by targeting the late leader as it was he who brought the party to power in 2004 and 2009 and introduced many pathbreaking welfare measures.

After suffering defeat at the hands of YSR Congress party in the Kovur assembly constituency in Nellore district, the Congress is worried over the threat from the fledgling party.

Before his death in a helicopter crash in 2009, YSR was the tallest leader and a crowd puller for the party. But after his death, the situation changed dramatically with his son parting ways and claiming to be a true successor of his political legacy. A section of Congress leaders today see YSR as a liability for the party in view of various corruption scandals that have surfaced in the last two years.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the alleged illegal assets of Jagan, has pointed out in its chargesheet how YSR took certain decisions allotting land and dolling out other favours to companies in return for investments they made into the firms owned by his son.

"The Congress party can win the confidence of people only if stops using the name and pictures of YSR," said senior leader and MP V. Hanumantha Rao.

"How can the Congress party praise YSR on one hand while criticising Jagan on the other when they were hand in glove (in corruption scandals)?" said Sarve Satyanarayana, another MP.

YSR supporters within the party are equally emphatic. His younger brother and former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy has warned of revolt if the Congress party launches a vilification campaign against him.

MP and former central minister A. Sai Pratap has also threatened to quit the Congress if it decides to target YSR. "I will never criticize YSR, who has done so much for people," said Sai Pratap.

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and state Congress chief Botsa Satyanarayana appear to be caught between the two groups. They prefer to tread the middle path.

"YSR was a Congress leader till his death. Jagan and YSR are two different people for us. Jagan is just an heir to YSR's wealth and not politics," said Satyanarayana, who made it clear that the party, during the campaign, would target Jagan for his corruption.

VH complains to Sonia about use of YSR name

Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumanta Rao has met the party president Sonia Gandhi here on Friday morning.

He is reported to have complained to her about party leaders still continuing to use the name of the late Chief Minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and advised her that it would be highly detrimental to the party’s interests.

It may be recalled that VH has been opposing Dr. Reddy even when he was alive and became a vehement opponent of his son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy after he left Congress and launched his own party.

Recently when the newly inducted medical education minister Kondru Murali Mohan has branded YSR as anti-Dalit openly, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has reprimanded him and asked his colleagues not to speak ill of the late leader.

Congress senior leader and minister Danam Nagender has also said that it was only those who attained leadership through a wind fall, were talking ill of YSR (He possibly aimed this remark against V Hanumantha Rao who was elected to the Assembly only once in his long political career. He has been getting nominated to Rajya Sabha term after term).

Another minister N Raghu Veera Reddy has also said that Congress would never disown Dr. Reddy as he was a Congress man all through his life and died as Congress Chief Minister. Even former minister Sankar Rao, a strong critic of YSR and his son, has trashed allegations that the late leader was anti-Dalit.

A state of utter confusion is prevailing in Congress party whether or not to own YSR. If they continue to call him their revered leader, they would have to explain how his son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has amassed wealth without his knowledge and involvement. As Jagan has turned to be a major force in the Coastal Andhra region and a main rival, Congress would have to defame him, if it were to win the voters back to its fold. However, there is no way it could do it without blaming YSR.

The newly elected Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan has also said that YSR and his son could not be viewed as separate entities and the strategy of praising the father and damning the son won’t work out.

Tara Chowdary Used YSR

Written By CineGlamour on Thursday, April 12, 2012 | 7:44 pm

Finally, time has come for this small actress who was allegedly arrested in a sex racket case to open her mouth. In the custody of Banjara Hills police, Tara Chowdary revealed many interesting things shocking everyone.

AP state people are witnessing from the last couple of weeks, how ruling Congress party and upcoming Jagan's YSR Congress are fighting for YSR. Both the parties are striving hard to use the image of late maha neta to lure vote banks. Anyways, observers say that if there is no YSR, then the existence of both these parties will go in vain. Shockingly, Tara Chowdary also lured and trapped her clients with the help of a snap she had taken with YSR. Tara spilled the beans that to enjoy luxuries she gave herself into prostitution and lured other girls too with tempting offers. After recording the sexual acts secretly, Tara used to blackmail those big-wigs for ransom, say reports.

Police are saying that officials at various temples and offices used to give special attention to Tara Chowdary as she gave a coloring that she is close to our late CM. On the other hand Police seized various photographs, video CDs and audio recordings from Tara's house before sending them to forensic lab to confirm the person's involved them through scientific tests. First reports say that a leader from Tenali and a sitting MP are involved with Tara's shady acts.

YSR And Jagan Are Branches Of Same Tree:Chiru

Megastar Chiranjeevi, who always says that YSR is the inspiration behind his entry into politics, left no word today to criticize the former CM. With by-polls nearing, Chiru has changed gears, though CM Kiran has some other plan.

The other day, CM Kiran revealed that anything related to owning YSR's image and attacking Jagan will be discussed thoroughly before making it clear to public. However, Chiru took no time to wait for that discussion and stated that Congress will not leave any corrupted official or politician, how big he is. 'Even though if it (corruption) happens in our own home, we have to clean it any cost' said Chiranjeevi. He has given the example of A.Raja and Kanimozhi, as to how the high-command had sacked them though the UPA2 government is supported by DMK.

These words of Chiru are also clearing the air that Congress is not trying to own YSR and his image in the public anymore. Have they taken decision to malign both the 'maha neta' and his son Jagan? Sources inside Gandhi Bhavan are saying yes to this question. Looks like, YSR Congress got its food to attack Congress!

By-Elections strategy of Congress: Delete YSR, Target YS Jagan

Written By CineGlamour on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 | 11:46 am

As the By-elections for the 18 Assembly constituencies are near the congress party is seeting up its strategy to approach the elections.

Some leaders of Congress are suggesting to campaign using the YSR’s schemes  for the Elections, while the other senior leaders like Paludugu Venkata Rao are suggesting the congress authorities to campaign without using the name of either YSRajasekhar Reddy or Jagan Mohan Reddy, as the allegations are being made on the two.
On the other hand, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy asked his party cadre not to criticize either Rajasekhar Reddy or Jagan Mohan Reddy, as doing such would give them sympathy, which may effect the By-Polls near by.

After the Kovur By-Elections, majority of the Senior congress leaders like V.Hanumanth Rao demanded the congress leaders to delete YSR’s  name from the CLP, and target YS Jagan in the upcoming By-Elections.
