Kiran Not Stopping Attacks On Botsa

Written By CineGlamour on Monday, April 16, 2012 | 4:41 pm

Even after high-command doing a solid brain wash to Chief Minister Kiran Kumar, the splits developed are not gluing together. Attacks are becoming quite public these days, with Kiran getting more opportunities than others.

Government's 'Praja Padham' program intended for helping the poor and needy has become Kiran's platform to kick his rivals. Though he showered lot of offerings for backward communities, he concentrated a lot on attacking rivals carefully. 'While outsiders are trying to bifurcate state, insiders are trying harder to bifurcate Congress party', fumed Kiran indirectly venting his anger on Botsa and Deputy CM. These talks of Kiran show that the splits in the party in the name of Botsa, Deputy CM, Jana Reddy and K Keshava Rao are still alive.

Sources say that seniors are trying to trigger Delhi leaders for CM's indirect attack on Botsa gang. Whatever it is, 'Praja patham' became an election meeting rather finding the problems of people and solving them!

Jagan's Auditor Vijaysai Reddy Gets Bail

Written By CineGlamour on Friday, April 13, 2012 | 10:10 pm

Finally, Jagan's auditor Vijaysai Reddy is granted a conditional bail in the illegal assets case. He is the second accused in Jagan's illegal assets case

CBI accused earlier that Vijaysai played a key role in pulling illegal investments into Jagan's companies including Jagathi Publications. The chargesheet lodged by CBI states that he facilitated those investors to bag government lands at reduced costs by this Quid pro quo. On Jan 2nd, Vijaysai was arrested by the investigation agency and his lawyers are fighting for bail from then. His lawyers argued and convinced court that charge sheet was lodged anyways and there is no threat in releasing him on bail. The conditions of bail include Vijayasai to submit his passport in the court and he should not cross the boundaries of Hyderabad at any cost.

However, CBI filed a counter petition in court to extend the custody of Vijaysai till 16th April. Earlier, officers like BP Acharya, Rajgopal and Srilakshmi too got bail from Nampally court in this manner which in turn was cancelled by High Court in no time.

VH complains to Sonia about use of YSR name

Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumanta Rao has met the party president Sonia Gandhi here on Friday morning.

He is reported to have complained to her about party leaders still continuing to use the name of the late Chief Minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and advised her that it would be highly detrimental to the party’s interests.

It may be recalled that VH has been opposing Dr. Reddy even when he was alive and became a vehement opponent of his son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy after he left Congress and launched his own party.

Recently when the newly inducted medical education minister Kondru Murali Mohan has branded YSR as anti-Dalit openly, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has reprimanded him and asked his colleagues not to speak ill of the late leader.

Congress senior leader and minister Danam Nagender has also said that it was only those who attained leadership through a wind fall, were talking ill of YSR (He possibly aimed this remark against V Hanumantha Rao who was elected to the Assembly only once in his long political career. He has been getting nominated to Rajya Sabha term after term).

Another minister N Raghu Veera Reddy has also said that Congress would never disown Dr. Reddy as he was a Congress man all through his life and died as Congress Chief Minister. Even former minister Sankar Rao, a strong critic of YSR and his son, has trashed allegations that the late leader was anti-Dalit.

A state of utter confusion is prevailing in Congress party whether or not to own YSR. If they continue to call him their revered leader, they would have to explain how his son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has amassed wealth without his knowledge and involvement. As Jagan has turned to be a major force in the Coastal Andhra region and a main rival, Congress would have to defame him, if it were to win the voters back to its fold. However, there is no way it could do it without blaming YSR.

The newly elected Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan has also said that YSR and his son could not be viewed as separate entities and the strategy of praising the father and damning the son won’t work out.

YSR's Pressure Behind OMC Scam: Sabita

Written By CineGlamour on Friday, April 06, 2012 | 8:46 pm

Home minister Sabita Indra Reddy cleared to the CBI that she has no role in Obulapuram Mining Scam. A testimony given by Sabitha to CBI revealed shocking things about her and the scam.

'Obulapuram scam is an output of power misuse by public servants. May be they have done this under pressure from late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy', Sabita Indra Reddy stated in her witness statement. She is standing as an 8th witness in the case which is being investigated by CBI, as she is the Minister of mines at the scam time. She says that Mines secretary Srilakshmi, IAS, has forced her many times to sign extended mine leasing agreements but she had rejected them.

One thing is clear, Sabitha, a favorite of YSR wants to come clear out of this entire episode accusing officers and YSR, feels a YSR Congress leader. On the other hand, YSR's name is flying high in all the present scams getting dug by the investigating agency. CBI has already nailed Mining tycoon Gali Janardhan Reddy, director Rajgopal IAS and another IAS, Srilakshmi pertaining to OMC case. They are going to file charge sheet about the same within next few days, says a source.
