Had YSR Not Done Sonia 'Paada Pooja'?

Written By CineGlamour on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 | 10:41 am

With no other weapons in hand to attack Congress and TDP leaders as CBI filed its charge sheet in Jagan's case, YSR Congress leaders changed their route. They are directly hitting at Kiran that he does Sonia's 'Paada Pooja' to bag CM seat. Had YSR not done that to stay in power for the second time?

Congress leaders are countering YSR Congress leader Ambati that YSR has done lot of acts to satisfy high command, especially Sonia Gandhi madam to retain that CM seat for the second time in 2009. 'YSR used to make every move only with the permission of Sonia. Every welfare scheme and govt's policy had Sonia's approval except those faulty GOs', stated a Congress leader.

Earlier Ambati quipped that Botsa and Kiran are pawns in the hands of Sonia Gandhi and cannot take a decision individually in favor of the welfare of people. On the other hand, Telugudesam leaders are saying that all the Congress leaders are jokers in the hands of their high-command and the whole country will develop if at all the ruling goes out of Sonia's hands.

'Decision on 'T' before August, If Congress wins By-polls'

Written By CineGlamour on Saturday, April 14, 2012 | 12:19 pm

Congress leaders are finally giving some solid statements about the on-going Telangana agitation that is shaking Andhra Pradesh politics. The firebrand Congress MP opened his mouth after long time but only to confuse Andhra voters.

Lagadapati Rajgopal went calm after his party lost in the T-area by-polls and surfaced in media today, explaining Congress' view about Telangana. 'High command will take a decision on Telangana, acceptable to 80% of people, by coming August', Lagadapati said. He added twist to it by saying that it will happen only if Congress wins all 18 seats in upcoming by-polls. 'We're the ones who can give solution to the problems created by all parties,' he said criticizing TDP and YSR-CP for not clearing their stand on T-issue.

Political observers are shocked with these words of Lagadapati, as they cannot find a link between Congress winning seats in Seemandhra (17 seats) to solve Telangana issue. Or is he giving an indirect hint that if people votes for Congress they will get a separate state soon? Then people may incline towards TDP as most people from Andhra region are opposing a separate state at the moment.

VH complains to Sonia about use of YSR name

Written By CineGlamour on Friday, April 13, 2012 | 4:06 pm

Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumanta Rao has met the party president Sonia Gandhi here on Friday morning.

He is reported to have complained to her about party leaders still continuing to use the name of the late Chief Minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and advised her that it would be highly detrimental to the party’s interests.

It may be recalled that VH has been opposing Dr. Reddy even when he was alive and became a vehement opponent of his son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy after he left Congress and launched his own party.

Recently when the newly inducted medical education minister Kondru Murali Mohan has branded YSR as anti-Dalit openly, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has reprimanded him and asked his colleagues not to speak ill of the late leader.

Congress senior leader and minister Danam Nagender has also said that it was only those who attained leadership through a wind fall, were talking ill of YSR (He possibly aimed this remark against V Hanumantha Rao who was elected to the Assembly only once in his long political career. He has been getting nominated to Rajya Sabha term after term).

Another minister N Raghu Veera Reddy has also said that Congress would never disown Dr. Reddy as he was a Congress man all through his life and died as Congress Chief Minister. Even former minister Sankar Rao, a strong critic of YSR and his son, has trashed allegations that the late leader was anti-Dalit.

A state of utter confusion is prevailing in Congress party whether or not to own YSR. If they continue to call him their revered leader, they would have to explain how his son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has amassed wealth without his knowledge and involvement. As Jagan has turned to be a major force in the Coastal Andhra region and a main rival, Congress would have to defame him, if it were to win the voters back to its fold. However, there is no way it could do it without blaming YSR.

The newly elected Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan has also said that YSR and his son could not be viewed as separate entities and the strategy of praising the father and damning the son won’t work out.

Bad Goes To Sonia! Good Goes To YSR!!

Written By CineGlamour on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 | 2:47 pm

This is the version of YSR Congress sleuths while talking about the welfare schemes running in the state for the sake of backward communities. In the advent of coming by-polls, Congress and YSR Congress are locking horns for vicious attacks.

As the ruling party decided to malign the image of late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy to fewer the chances of Jagan, YSR Congress is countering them. An YSR party worker stated that Congress should blame Sonia Gandhi as she is the one who gives a nod for Welfare Schemes to be implemented but not YSR. However, Jagan's followers like former MLA K Srinivasaulu are busy in praising YSR for his pro-Dalit schemes. TDP leaders are saying that both Congress and YSR Congress are maintaining double standards in using the name of YSR, who anyways is corrupt and will be proved by CBI very soon.

'Sonia is bad and YSR is good, is the by-poll strategy of Jagan, as Congress cannot decide their stand on using YSR's name', say analysts. Already, Congress started implementing various new schemes and benefits for poor to lure them from falling in the nets of Jagan. YSR party also started accusing that Sonia is responsible for turmoil in the state due to her double edged ways on T-issue. A third party like Telugudesam will benefit in this tug of war as Naidu started slaughtering both Congress and Jagan's image.

Why Is Sonia Avoiding AP's Trimurthulu?

Written By CineGlamour on Saturday, April 07, 2012 | 5:27 pm

The Congress chief has met ex PCC Chief, a rival MLA and other group of agitators, but avoided confrontation with 'Trimurthulu', CM Kiran, Deputy CM Damodara Rajanarasimha and Botsa. What's the reason madam?

Ex PCC Chief and arch rival of Botsa, D Srinivas can go and meet Sonia. Anti CM campaigner Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy can go and shake a hand with her. Agitating jewelers from the state in connection with bloated gold prices can get the appointment of Madam. But, our state's Chief Minister and Pradesh Congress Committee president cannot get a glimpse of her face. Insiders are saying that Sonia is angry with both of them as they are helping opposition indirectly.

With the streak of taking revenge on Botsa, CM is said to be using his Liquor deals and that too exposing them through 'Eenadu' paper. We all know whom that paper supports. Coming to Deputy CM Rajanarasimha's case, CM is not allowing him to take any work according to his choice. Say it establishing information centres or decisions about scams, CM is iron handedly suppressing his deputy, say sources. But all these internal conflicts are helping opposition to progress faster in state politics. Sonia is said to be angered with these moves of Kiran and hence avoiding all of them to teach a lesson with her silence.

Won't bend, even if Sonia invites me: Jagan

Written By CineGlamour on Friday, April 06, 2012 | 7:23 am

The talk in the political circles is that after the shameful defeat of the party in the Kovur by-poll, some top brass Congress leaders has asked the High Command to consider the option of inviting Jagan back into the parent party.

When the media asked him to react on these developments, Jagan has made it clear that he would neither go back his parent party nor merge his YSR Congress party with the ruling Congress.

"I don't know what Congress thinks about me. But the fact is Me and Congress can't go together. Practically, I'm fighting against the Congress party in the state. So, it don't happen that way. The fact is we are doing a political battle and it goes on. Even if Sonia calls me and invites me to come back to Congress, I wouldn't agree for it because I value my character and I value my credibility. So, Me going back to Congress or Me merging my party with Congress cannot happen," said Jagan.

Jagan turns philosophical on his arrest reports

Reports say, YSR Congress leaders have planned mass protests and agitations all over the state to counter the arrest of their leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the illegal assets case. In case the CBI plans to arrest you, it will become a huge public spectacle.

When asked about the same, Jagan replied,"Why would I be arrested? I strongly believe in God, So let God be the judge. If an arrest kind of injustice is being done, let that injustice also be washed by the God."

According to the CBI sources, Jagan would be arrested during his present by-election campaign. The investigation agency is also taking all the precautionary measures before attacking the big fish.
