YSR Is Not My Leader Anytime :Chiranjeevi

Written By CineGlamour on Monday, April 23, 2012 | 5:43 am

Equations are changing in the mind of Congress MP Megastar Chiranjeevi about using the image of YSR for the benefit of Congress. Chiru directly felt that the day is not far to distance the 'maha neta' name from Congress party.

'He is no more in this world by the time I've entered Congress. YSR is not my leader at all', clarified Chiranjeevi about linking YSR as his leader. However, he stated that YSR is his role model earlier but not now. 'Already, it is found that mistakes are done by YSR and we cannot cover them for a long time. There will be a day where we have to accept all the mistakes done by him' confirms Chiru. He made some sensational comments about YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his misdeeds thereby giving a hint about Congress' stand on this tainted leader.

Though a section of Congress party is against anti-YSR stand, high-command has made it clear to sling mud against Jagan and YSR, says an insider.

JC-Raghuveera Became Another Kiran-Botsa

Written By CineGlamour on Sunday, April 22, 2012 | 5:51 pm

Power politics are common among Congress leaders from a long time. The focus has now shifted to Anantapur politics, where there is a friction between JC Diwakar Reddy and minister Raghuveera Reddy.

Both these Congress scions are going opposite ways from a long time. After 2009 elections, Raghuveera's group is showing dominance in all aspects. Reports say that they played key role in obstructing an MP seat to JC's brother Prabhakar Reddy and a minister seat to JC Diwakar Reddy. Recently, JC group is now bursting anger that Delhi ambassador Vayalar Ravi has not invited them to for opinion because of Raghuveera's intervention.

While rivals from same party Rayapati and Kanna criticize each other publicly, people like Kiran-Botsa are duping innocence in public and fighting internally, say observers. Now that JC-Raghuveera too joining this camp, a loss can be anticipated for Congress in coming polls, but not a pinch of benefit.

'The End' card for CM Kiran

Written By CineGlamour on Thursday, April 19, 2012 | 2:02 pm

The talk in the political circles is that the outcome of the upcoming by-polls will decide the future of chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

After Kiran Kumar Reddy took charge as chief minister, the Congress party failed to win atleast a single seat in any of the by-elections. The upcoming by-polls will be test for Kiran and his longevity as CM will depend on the results. If Kiran fails to make Congress win atleast half of the 18 Assembly seats where the by-elections will be held, then the High Command may choose someone else to replace him.

The by-elections will be held in 18 Assembly constituencies and Nellore Lok Sabha constituency. About 16 of these 18 Assembly seats and the single Lok Sabha seat were won by Congress in the 2009 polls. The other two seats belong to PRP. One of them fell vacant after the disqualification of Shobha Nagi Reddy by Speaker for defy party whip during No Confidence Motion against government and the other fell vacant due to the resignation of Chiru as Turupati MLA after he was nominated to the upper house. Retaining these constituencies will be very crucial for the survival of the party in the state.

Congress targets YSR, dug its own grave

The state Congress leaders strategy to target YS Jagan by questioning the caste and religious of former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy has backfired, as the YSR Congress leaders has launched a counter-attack against AICC chief Sonia Gandhi.

Congress leaders tried to project YSR as a Christian, to woo the strong Reddy community voters who were sailing with Jagan. To counter Congress party's move, now YSR Congress leaders were questioning the nationality of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. "The Congress leaders who are making a hue and cry about the caste and religion of YSR should first question the nationality of their party chief Sonia Gandhi. The true colors of Congress were exposed now with the caste politics they have been playing," said a YSRC leader.

Political analysts say, the dalit-Christians (who were a traditional vote bank of Congress) are angry with the YSR's Christianity issue raised by the Congress party. There are chances that they may distance Congress and join the YSR party in future. Congress has dug its own grave by touching sensitive issue!

Vayalar Ravi reveals truth about Kiran And Botsa

Written By CineGlamour on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 | 7:28 pm

Finally, Congress ambassador from Delhi to assess the situation of party in state, Vayalar Ravi has spoken to media. He simply scrapped that complaints always come against rulers and there is no need to take them serious, in connection with Kiran-Botsa issue.

Vayalar Ravi stated that they have reports that Chief Minister Kiran and PCC Chief Botsa Satynarayana are doing well. He confirms that he is not here to think about change in leadership and there is no conflict at all between them. 'I'm here to interact with CM, PCC chief and other congress leaders regarding political situation in state.

Practice in Congress party usually is to review performance in every state and that is what I'm doing since I arrived last night', said Vayalar Ravi. He clarified that Ghulam Azad is busy with international meets and ministerial works and hence the high command has sent him here. A speck of smile can be seen on Botsa's face, who is sitting aside this Delhi leader.

YSR's Close Friend revolt against Congress

If senior Congress MP Sai Pratap's revolt against the leadership for ordering him to launch attack against his close friend and former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy is any indication, he will soon bid adieu to his parent party and join the YSR Congress party floated by YS Jagan.

Sai Pratap, earlier, made it clear that he will not campaign for the party in the upcoming by-polls in his Rajampet Parliament constituency and also threatened to quit Congress if he was forced to abuse YSR. "I willn't hesitate to quit party or politics, If I was asked to attack YSR," said Sai Pratap, who is unhappy with some of the Congress leaders for branding YSR as 'anti-dalit'.

Congress party and cadre were worried with the stand of the MP, as this will surely affect the prospects of the party. Winning chances of Congress candidates was bleak as Sai Pratap belongs to the strong 'Balija' community in the constituency. On the other hand, Jagan has invited Sai Pratap to join his party and has been constantly in touch with him.

Sai Pratap was elected six times to Lok Sabha and also worked as Union Cabinet Minister in the past. His exit will be a big blow to the ruling Congress.

State Congress Queues Up In Gandhi Bhavan

Union minister Vayalar Ravi's arrival has triggered chaos in Congress leaders of the state. Ministers, MLAs and MPs are seen forming queues at Gandhi Bhavan to get his 'darshan'.

In a shocking move, Congress high-command has sent Vayalar Ravi to assess the situation in state and bail out party from internal politics. Ravi is going to hear from different factions of Congress about the ongoing situation in state including the war between seniors, seniors and CM, and Telangana agitation. In the wake of coming by-elections, Sonia wants a second opinion from Ravi though CM Kiran, Botsa and Ghulam Azad have already given their reports about Andhra Pradesh.

On the other hand, Governor E L Narasimhan's report about situation in state and Botsa's directions about CM's monopoly are forcing the high-command to consider a leadership change, says a source. Vayalar Ravi is going to enquire various leaders in the absence of CM Kiran and Botsa's presence.

Liquor Scam: HC Shocks Cong Leaders

Praising the mid-term report submitted by Anti Corruption Bureau in connection with Liquor Syndicate Scam, High Court fumed at State government for taking decisions in a hurry. While Congress leaders are spelling that ACB is crossing limits, courts praises have given relief for the officials.

ACB has submitted its report in a sealed cover, which is praised by the High Court for their honest work. Court ordered the Kiran government to reconsider their decision of transferring ACB top cop and Special Investigation Team head Srinivasa Reddy. It felt that Government has taken decision in a hurry without consulting them. These words of court are shivering the likes of Congress leaders like Mopidevi Venkataramana and Botsa Satyanarayana, say sources.

Names of this excise minister and PCC chief have popped in the scam right from the beginning but were suppressed in the middle by pressurizing ACB, say observers. With the intervention of HC, ACB sleuths may change their course of action and intensify the attacks on Cong leaders in a shocking way!
