D-Duty On Tapsee's Shoulders

Sometimes, heroines should take a lead role in heating up the silver screen. But, our hero is now asking this slender beauty indirectly to take lead in promotions too.

Tapsee is going extra mile for her latest flick to make the most out of it. Taking Daruvu-Duty, she is said to be coming up with ways to promote this movie in the absence of hero Raviteja. For any movie, audio launch sets the date of starting promotion and creating buzz both in film trade circles and audience. However, Ravi Teja has simply given a miss to 'Daruvu' audio launch program.

With the kind of facilities available, one can easily fly from Bangkok to Hyderabad for a day to attend the audio release rather speaking through video phone and Skype. Insiders revealed that producers are upset with RaviTeja's 'Touch-me-not' attitude after wrapping up the shoot. They say that Tapsee will soon trigger the promotions of 'Daruvu' in a style. Tollywood's costliest and cheapest heroines

The most important aspect for any film industry is the heroine and even for the success of a film, the glamour quotient of the leading lady is crucial. That is why a lot of importance and thinking goes while finalizing a heroine for a project. Recently, a list was revealed which showed the highest and lowest paid actresses in the top league.

First in the list are the awesome beauty Anushka and the gracious beauty Nayantara. It is heard that they charge a whopping Rs 1.15 crores per film. The likes of the saucy seductress Kajal Agarwal, sexy hip beauty Ileana and the milky white beauty Tamannah are charging around Rs 1 crore per film.

The third layer of heroines comprises of the petite beauty Trisha and the lovely smile beauty Samantha who are reportedly charging around Rs 80 lakhs per film. The likes of Shruti Haasan and Taapsee are also being considered and they are charging around Rs 50 lakhs to Rs 60 lakhs, as per sources.

T-agitators disrupt Raviteja's Daruvu

The Telangana agitators on Wednesday disrupted the audio launch of Raviteja's mass entertainer Daruvu at Prasads Labs. A group of people shouting slogans stormed the venue and demanding the change in the film's title. Initially, the film unit was shocked with this unexpected development but after a while they recovered from it and showed the exit doors to the pro-Telangana activists.

The T-activists stated that the word 'Daruvu' got a significance and has connection to the revolutionaries and balladeers. "Using the same word as the title of a mass masala flick is strictly objectionable," said an activist.

Ravi Teja, who is in Bangkok for the shoot of Puri Jagannath's flick 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu', gave a miss to the audio release function. Film's female lead Tapsee, Director Siva, Jayasudha, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore and music director Vijay Anthony graced the event.

Raviteja's Daruvu turns Baruvu for producers!

Raviteja was considered as one of the safe bet heroes in Telugu cinema until a year ago. But a series of flop movies raised enough doubts on him to the buyers. Raviteja's downfall started with Dongala Mutha, a film that Raviteja should've never done. Later it was followed up by Veera which was a bigger debacle in terms of financial returns.

Earlier this year Raviteja tasted the flop of his career with Nippu. With this movie, Raviteja lost the trust of audience as well as business circles. Previously Raviteja used to be the savior for films with average content. With growing age and declining energy levels, he is not the same Raviteja now. Being monotonous is showing ominous signs already.

His upcoming film Daruvu has no takers in few key regions. A year ago his films used to sell like hot cakes. But times have changed now and how fast! Daruvu is turning out to be Baruvu for its producers as buyers are not showing any interest in this film with so many biggies in the fray. They will have to wait for the right time or should release the film on their own if they want to take advantage of summer holidays. That should be risky unless Daruvu is a minimum guarantee mass film.

Materials used by heroes in Telugu films are getting auctioned these days for charity and commercial purposes. At the moment, a slender heroine's golden waist thread is widely discussed in Film Nagar for an auction.

Slender babe Tapsee has this habit of wearing golden thread around her sexy waist. Many a times, she sported that thread in films too raising mercury levels to all time high. She can be seen wearing it in 'Mogudu' and 'Gundello Godari'. Upon advice from her good friend and sexy actress Lakshmi Manchu, Tapsee is said to be planning to auction this for charity.

Imagine the price this 'thread' can fetch as it adored the most lovable place of a hot girl for years. Insiders revealed that the proceedings will go to poor people in Godavari region, about whom Tapsee's upcoming movie with Lakshmi Manchu deals.
