Brahmi Insults National Award Winner

Comedy King Brahmanandam can generate fun and laughter even without talking a single word on screen. But these days, he is imitating and reprising few real life celebrities to make a mockery of them. Here goes the latest one.

Actually, in an upcoming film, Brahmi is taking the name of 'Vidya Balan', a National Award winner for her stupendous performance in 'Dirty Picture'. But we are not talking about this winner. The super comedian's dress, getup and profession in 'Daruvu' remind us of a popular choreographer. A big tilak on forehead, sleeveless ethnic coat and a large neck-chain resemble Shiva Shankar Master. He made us proud an year back by winning National Award for his 'Dheera.. Dheera..' song in 'Magadheera'.

Brahmi is heard making mockery of this talented dance master in Raviteja's upcoming movie. Sources say that his dance institute in the film is a spoof of Shiva Shankar master and his antics. Writers may etch roles with inspiration from popular persons to make fun and earn audience, but it is actors to give weight to another artist's talent, say critics.

'DCM' is the only hope for those two

It is alright if you are trying for a big break in cinema and are yet to get it but it is a real hell if you have already tasted success, reached the peaks and are going through a rough phase. And that seems to be the case with two very famous actors who are now banking on one film to get them back.

We are talking about the duo of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and the sexy hip beauty Ileana. Apparently, both have not been able to score a sizeable hit in the recent past. While Ravi Teja has been scoring a string of flops, Ileana scored major duds with 'Shakti' 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi' etc. and is waiting for Allu Arjun Julaayi release.

However, they are confident that their new movie 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' will turn the tables. Being directed by crazy director Puri Jagannadh, the film seems to have the right kind of entertainment and commercial values to appease the audience. Since both are the lead pair, let us hope that hopes are not let down.

Mass Hero's 'Playboy' acts onscreen!!

The demand for mass heroes and mass roles is always high in the Tollywood circuit. True to the demand, most of the heroes try to prove themselves as mass heroes. But one man who has always proved to be the best in this category is Ravi Teja. That's why he is called the Mass Maharaja of Tollywood.

Now, it is heard that Ravi Teja is gearing up for another project and this time, he is teaming up with director Gopichand Malineni. The title has already begun to cause a stir because the film has been named as 'Playboy'. As it indicates, this is going to be a romantic entertainer with strong commercial masala.

Already, Ravi Teja and Gopichand teamed up and scored the hit in 'Don Seenu' and now this unusually titled film is happening. However there are those who say this title would draw objections from the western company with the same name which is considered the haven for porn industry. Let us see what happens.

Parasuram says 'Saar vastara..!' with Raviteja

Raviteja’s next film under the direction of Parasuram is gearing up to start rolling from May. If the buzz is to be believed 'Saar vastara..!' is the title under consideration for this movie. This film is touted to be a high budget film ever in Raviteja's career.

Nayanthara is roped in to play female lead role in this film. The combination of hero, heroine and director is repeating with this movie after 'Anjaneyulu'. Tollywood star producer Aswini Dut is producing this movie on Vaijayanti movies banner. Stay tuned for the further details about this movie.

Raviteja comes face to face with NTR

Few days ago there was talk that Raviteja's Daruvu movie release has been postponed indefinitely due to heavy competition. But the makers of Daruvu released a press statement that their film is going to release on time without fail. As per the producer Daruvu will be released on May 4th. That means it will be released exactly a week after NTR's Dammu is released.

Dammu is going for an all out release with more than thousand theaters on its first day. Although it is releasing so big, it is impossible to collect all its costs in one week. So Dammu will need another week without much competition to enter the safe zone. But Raviteja is not going to take the back step as of now.

With so many biggies lined up for release in May and June, Daruvu makers feel that May 4th is the ideal date to release their film. This clash can affect Dammu as well as Daruvu. Let's see if D and D come to an agreement and maintain good gap to the benefit of each other.

Trisha On Cloud Nine For Nitya's Loss

Ultimately one actress' loss is another one's gain. Now, with Nitya Menon going 'over board' once again, our petite beauty will remain a winner.

Like a cool breeze in hot summer, petite beauty Trisha got this meaty offer with our short heroine walking out of it. Apparently, Nitya Menon rejected the offer of pairing with RaviTeja citing 'character' reasons. She felt that her character is merely a commercial glam doll but nothing else, reveals a source. Trisha, who is running out of offers in Telugu hasn't signed any movie after 'Dammu' and is ready to jump in irrespective of her character.

Till now, Trisha never opted for a performance oriented role but utilized all her glam doll avatars to the best. All this happened with director Parasuram's upcoming movie with Raviteja. He recently made 'Solo' and previously Raviteja's 'Anjaneyulu' and is all set to take off the project after Ravi finishes Puri's project.
