Mega powerstar Ram Charan Tej has now taken off with the shooting of his debut venture in Bollywood. This is the remake of 'Zanjeer' and now it is heard that the film is facing the threat of legal action. The reason for that are the original writers of the film Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar.
Sources say the duo has consulted and hired a team of lawyers to proceed with legal action on the film. They are demanding that they are entitled for royalty since it was their story and claim that they gave the rights only to make it once which happened in the year 1974.
They are miffed that the producer of Charan's film Amit Mehra has not given a proper answer to their financial demand and declared that he got the clearance. For now, the shooting is happening without any hiccups but once the legal notices are slapped then it could land the project in trouble.
