Ram Charan’s Zanjeer Movie with Two Item Songs

Item songs have almost become a staple in Bollywood films, and Amit Mehra who is producing the remake of 1973 film “Zanjeer” too plans to cash in on the trend by including two item numbers, of which one will be featured on actress Mahie Gill. “We will definitely have item numbers in the film. In fact, we have decided to go with two item numbers,” Mehra said.

“The songs are a part of the script and they will be situational. One item song will be featured on Mahie and for the other, we are yet to decide whom to cast,” he added.
Mahie will also essay Bindu’s iconic ‘Mona Darling’ in the “Zanjeer” remake, to be directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film will feature Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra in the lead.
Mehra is extremely confident about Ram Charan’s acting skills, and feels he will do justice to the role.
“When I saw his films, I decided to cast him. He is the best guy to launch. He is fluent with Hindi as well. I am sure he will justify the role,” said Mehra, son of late filmmaker Prakash Mehra.Priyanka will join the crew of his movie by May end.

“Priyanka is busy with her other commitments. She is confirmed for the film and will join the crew by May end. Presently we are shooting the scenes with the actors,” said Mehra.
However, music being a crucial part of movies, Mehra is yet to decided who to trust with the musical score for the film.

“Music is certainly a crucial part of the film. But we are yet to decide who will compose the music for ‘Zanjeer’ remake. We still have some time to go to think about that,” he added.
The shooting of the “Zanjeer” remake began April 13 at Mumbai’s Film city. It is expected to release by May 2013.

“We will finish the entire film by this December and we plan to release the film by May 2013,” said Mehra.

'Gabbar Singh' Shooting Item Song

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's latest movie 'Gabbar Singh' is in last stage of production and currently the movie is shooting a song in Annapurna studios, Hyderbad. 'kevvu..keka' is the song which is being shot on Malaika Arora, Abhimanyu Singh and other. Pawan kalyan will join the unit in the last day of shoot.  

Bhaskarabatla is the lyric writer of the song and Devi Sri Prasad has composed the tune. Harish Shanker is directing this movie under the banner Parameswara arts  produced by Bandla Ganesh babu. Pawan Kalyan is acting in the role of powerful police officer in the movie and Sruti Hassan is playing as his romantic interest.

Jayanan Vincent  is handling the camera while Goutam Raju is the editor. Gabbar Singh audio was released yesterday and rocking the charts. The movie is scheduled to release on May 25. 

Kareena’s item song in Heroine!

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, who mesmerized the audience and her fans with her sensual moves in the song Chammak Challo in Sharukh Khan’s Sci-fic Ra.One.Now the latest news is that Kareena Kapoor is once again doing the item song in the film Heroine.The lyrics of that item song are “Halkat Jawan” and it is composed by Salim-Sulaiman.

Rs 1 crore for Malaika for Gabbar Singh!

Bollywood actress Malaika Arora Khan has been roped to do the item song in Pawan Kalyan's upcoming Telugu film "Gabbar Singh" and now the latest buzz is that the hot actress was reportedly paid Rs 1 Crore to do the item song in the film. Earlier the filmmakers were approached several heroines for the item song and finally Malaika was roped in.

Gabbar Singh is a remake of Hindi film Dabangg. In the original version also Malaika did the item song "Munni Badnam Hui", which rocked the the nation with her sizzling performance in that song.Now she is romancing with Pawan Kalyan in an item song in Gabbar Singh.In Telugu version, Devi Sri Prasad has come up with his own tune for the original song, Munni Badnam Hui.

Sruthi Hassan is the heroine in Gabbar Singh and it is being directed by Harish Shankar and Ganesh Babu is the producer.
