Guntur SP and Gopi Priya To File Defamation Suit

Guntur SP Shyam Sundar, Kotha Karthik and Yadlapalli Gopipriya's case took a new turn with SP and techie's housewife moving to file a defamation suit against Karthik and family. Speaking with media, SP and Priya revealed their version of the total high drama.
'Unnecessarily they are hiding actual facts by this drama. If at all I've some other interests, I might have given my personal cell number rather using this official mobile', Guntur urban SP Shyam Sundar stated. The top cop felt that Karthik's family has submitted false affidavit to deviate the attention of court in a case that was filed a chargesheet on March 22. He along with DGP office cleared the air that his transfer to Warangal as SP is nothing to do with this case.
On the other hand Gopi Priya also cleared that she has no other interest in talking with SP Shyam Sundar other than discussing about the case. 'I've never phoned SP at midnight. All this is a political game to dilute the case' stated Priya. She filed a complaint with Guntur Arundelpet police station for falsely implicating her in this telephone-calls drama and is moving pawns to file a defamation suit to.

SP in trouble for midnight calls to techie's wife

Guntur urban SP Syam Sundar has landed in trouble for making hundreds of midnight calls to a software professional's estranged wife.
Karthik, a techie, filed a writ petition in High Court alleging that the IPS Officer is in a relationship with his estranged wife Yadlapalli Gopipriya. Following the petition, the magistrate has ordered the authorities to probe the matter.
Karthik and Gopipriya got married in 2009. Differences propped up between them and for the past one year they are staying separately.On December 16, 2011- Gopipriya has filed a dowry harassment case against Karthik and his family members. She latter filed a case in a family court seeking divorce. Usually dowry harassment or divorce cases are handed by CI or SI level rank officers. But SP Syam Sundar took special interest in the case, which raised many doubts. The midnight conversations confirms the relationship between the two. Karthik approached a private detective agency to get the call list.
During the period January 1 to March 20 this year, SP Syam Sundar has made several calls to Gopipriya at odd hours. In 2012, he made 166 calls to Gopipriya in 80 days. On an average all the calls lasted for about 30 minutes. Even, Gopipriya made 226 calls to the SP. They both exchanged 1,944 SMSs in this period. However, Gopipriya denied the allegations of any relationship with the SP.
Syam Sundar, who is currently on leave, is unavailable for comment. Syam is a married man and his wife works as assistant engineer in Kerala State Electricity Board. They have a 6-month-old baby girl.
