Written By CineGlamour on Friday, April 20, 2012 | 4:45 pm

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan wrapped up the shoot of the chartbuster 'Kevvu Keka' and the outcome will set this song apart from other item numbers. Bollywood item girl Malaika Arora Khan shaked her leg with Pawan for the first time and the film unit says the chemistry between the duo will work wonders at the Box Office.

'Kevvu Keka' has already become a rage and this foot tapping dance number will also be an eye feast for the fans. Pawan's impressive steps in the song is what one should watch out for! The song was shot in a lavish set erected in Annapurna Studios and 100 dancers have participated in the shoot.

Director Harish Shankar is delighted with the outcome and he has been planning to come up with a teaser of the song. "Just done shooting of "Kevvu KeKa". I wont tweet about the output... but very soon will release... a teaser of it," he said.

The audio sales of 'Gabbar Singh' has been setting new records. Around 80% of the first bunch CDs were sold out on the first day of release itself. According to the reports, the second bunch is nearing completion and new orders were pouring in. In the recent times, no other film has managed to get this kind of response. Looks like, the time has finally started for Mega Heroes. First it was Racha and now it's Gabbar Singh! What else could the fans ask for more?

Shruti Hassan hits back at critics

Written By CineGlamour on Thursday, April 19, 2012 | 10:14 am

Although critics have always glorified their favourite 'legendary' actor Kamal Hassan and since the very beginning of his career, but they never treated his multi-talented daughter the same way. Since her debut, the Critics has written her off and raised doubts about her skills set as far as acting in concerned. This repeated after the release of every film of her's, but things have changed with her performance in the film '3'. Even the critics had given thumbs up for the brilliant portrayal of emotions in the role of Janani.

Seems like, Shruti Hassan now feels that this is the right time to settle scores with her detractors. She shot back at the critics by saying that she never reads a review before watching a film, in a way questioning the judgemental skills of them.

"I don't read reviews at all. I see the film and judge for myself. In fact, I liked a lot of films that critics had written off (giggles). I think, there are audiences for every kind of cinema today. I know for sure I don't watch a movie based on a review," she said. What's there in the armor of critics to counter Shruti's criticism is to be seen now!

Increasing doubts over Gabbar Singh's fate

Written By CineGlamour on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 | 2:29 pm

Pawan Kalyan fans are happy that Gabbar Singh audio has been received well by the general public. Despite the deja vu feel, the audio has the beats to entertain the listeners. Pilla and Kevvu Keka song are making enough noise everywhere. However, Power fans aren't happy with Gabbar Singh as the theatrical trailer was very weak.

The taking looked pretty ordinary and the dialogues in the trailer are not up to the mark. Except for popular dialog from Gabbar Singh's Thikka teaser, nothing is worth mentioning. Besides, Pawan Kalyan's dialog delivery when uttering "Naa Thikkento Choopistha, Mee Lekkalanni telustha" was very weak. Even hardcore fans of Pawan are not impressed with this one.

On the other hand Dammu and Eega theatrical trailers were awesome and raising expectations on those respective films. But Gabbar Singh's first 90 Seconds trailer turned out to be a disaster. Maybe cutting the trailer in hurry could've been the reason for this problem. It is high time that Harish Shankar comes up with a better trailer to increase the hype. Audiences nowadays are too clever and directors should think a notch higher than them to draw huge openings.

Biggest weak link of Gabbar Singh

Written By CineGlamour on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 | 2:53 pm

Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh is raising expectations with even a ten second teaser. Recently released teaser about the audio release has clicked with Power fans. Pawan's dance and his expressions are instantly liked by his fans and followers. However there is one weak link that is worrying them. That is none other than the heroine of Gabbar Singh, Shruti Haasan.

Two shots of Shruti were shown in the teaser and she looked very odd in the village belle attire. Besides, her makeup is awkward in those scenes. Pawan fans are hoping for the best and praying that Shruti looks better on the screen. As far as fans are concerned, they are hoping Gabbar Singh to be a blockbuster and they don't want any weak link to mar the film's success range.

Shruti has been termed as the 'iron leg lady' as all her films she starred in were ended up as flops. Therefore Pawan fans are a little bit worried about her 'luck' factor to affect the fate of Gabbar Singh. Nowadays heroines are playing big role in making a film super hit. Hence, Shruti should be on the list of Gabbar Singh's highlights but not among the drawbacks.
