Nagarjuna’s Shirdi Sai Audio to Release on May 15

Hero Nagarjuna is presently busy with the shooting of his upcoming devotional film “Shirdi Sai” and presently the film shooting progressing in Hyderabad.

Now the latest news is that filmmakers are planning to release the movie audio on May 15th. Earlier the film has completed its shooting schedules in in Karnataka, Kulu Manali. After Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu, now director K.Raghavendra Rao and Nagarjuna are working together for another devotional film Shirdi Sai.

Another hero Srikanth is also playing an important role in this film.Produced by industrialist A. Mahesh Reddy, the film is made on Sai Krupa Entertainments Pvt. Ltd banner. MM Keeravani is composing the music for this film. Shirdi Sai is expected to hit the silver screens in June!

Nagarjuna should do 'Racha' Business

Akkineni Nagarjuna's next attraction is Dhamarukam movie directed by Srinivasa Reddy which is likely to release in June. RR Movie Makers produced this socio fantasy film. This is one of the costliest movies ever made in Tollywood. As per unofficial sources the film's budget is around 40 crore rupees. This film needs so much graphics work and currently it is going on.

Making a film with 40 crore rupees budget is not a joke. Nagarjuna never tasted a success that collected more than twenty five crores in his career spanning over twenty five years. So this is the biggest risk anybody could take. Also director Srinivasa Reddy is not known for making high budget films. A four crore film director handling a film of forty crores budget seems like a fairy tale.

If Dhamarukam has to survive and get back the investment, Nagarjuna will have to pull off a feat something like Ram Charan. Racha film is poised to collect more than forty crores. Even Racha was made with a smalltime director. Ram Charan's star power did the trick and made the film a winner at the box office. Nagarjuna will have to do something that he hasn't ever done in his entire career to make Dhamarukam a hit. Let's hope Nag does it in style.

Annapurna builds world-class film studios in Hyderabad

Annapurna Studios, one of the leading film production centres in India, on Saturday announced that it has added five state-of-the-art studios with an investment of Rs. 100 crore.

The production house is hoping to target Hollywood with the cheaper labour and studio rentals in India.

The 10,00,000 square feet climate-controlled movie production studios are Asia’s most modern studios, offering “concept-to-can” facility.

Akkineni Nagarjuna, popular Telugu actor and managing director of Annapurna Studios, told a select group of journalists on Saturday that the air conditioned studios with integrated facilities are on par with international standards.

Annapurna Studios, founded by his father and legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao three decades ago, will throw open the new facility in a week. “We hope to attract Hollywood. We are already getting some inquiries,” said Mr Nagarjuna.

Hollywood looks to India as less expensive. “India offers Hollywood less expensive labour, junior artists and the studio rentals are also low here,” he said.

He said Bollywood would be the first target of Annapurna. He pointed out that very few studios in Mumbai had the kind of facilities which his studio offers.

Mr Nagarjuna expects Rs. 45 to Rs. 50 crore turnover by the end of 2013 from the new facility.

Annapurna Studios spread over 22 acres in Banjara Hills already has five studio floors.

“This will allow us to not only host bigger volume of global movie productions but also create thousands of job opportunities in this region,” he said.

Annapurna Studios last year opened a film and media school, which has so far trained 100 students in different fields of film, television and media.

Thaman Music for Nagarjuna's Next Movie

Thaman who is going at good pace with good offers in his hand has got an another opportunity, Thaman is giving music for King Nagarjuna for a movie produced by Kamakshi movies and directed by Dasarath. This is the second time that Thaman scoring music for Nagarjuna after Ragada.

The music sittings are said to be done at Hyderabad as of now and this would be the movie Nagarjuna will be doing after 'Shiridi Sai'. Nayanthara is playing the female lead in this film. 'Damarukam' Audio in May first week

King Nagarjuna’s next release 'Damarukam' has completed its talkie part recently. The post production works of the film are going on at rapid pace in Hyderabad. The audio of the film is expected to hit the stands in May first weeks says the latest reports. As of now May 6th is the date under consideration but it is not officially confirmed.

This is for the first time Nagarjuna is acting in a socio-fantasy film in his career. Anushka is playing heroine of the film. Prakash Raj is essaying an important role in this film. The movie is inspired from the novel The Immortals of Meluha written by Amish Tripathi.

Under RR Movie Makers banner Dr. Venkat Reddy is producing this movie. Srinivasa Reddy is directing the film which is being made with a budget of Rs 30 crore. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film. The makers are planning to release this movie in third week of June.   

'Damarukam' delayed due to fight !

For the first time in his career, King Nagarjuna was due to arrive with the most expensive movie of his career. This is titled as 'Damarukam' but despite completing the shooting few months back, the film has not made a forward step. Now, inside sources are coming out with the reason for that.

Buzz is that a clash of sorts has developed between Nagarjuna and the makers of the film R R Movie Makers. Sources say this has to do with certain financial transactions during the making of 'Dhada' and '100% Love'. So now, it is heard that the film which was due for release in April has been pushed to August.

This would be the first time that Nag would be seen in a different role with some supernatural elements in it. However, many Nag fans are hoping that the issue gets resolved ASAP and 'Damarukam' can begin a better future. This has the awesome beauty Anushka in the lead.
