Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) party has proposed the name of Dhoni for Rajya Sabha to fill one of two vacant seats. "What's wrong if we choose Dhoni, who made India's dream of winning the World Cup come true, to the Rajya Sabha? After all, he is the son of this soil (Ranchi)," sai a senior party leader.
Sources say, JVM top brass leaders have been in talks with the Indian caption for sometime now. However, Dhoni is yet to give his final nod to the proposal. In the meantime, other political parties in the state have started alleging that JVM's move is an attempt to cash in on the popularity of Dhoni.
