Way back in 2004, actress Preeti Jain had lodged a complaint that Madhur Bhandarkar has raped her several times by promising a lead role in his movies. Though the director made sensational movies like Chandini Bar, Page3 and Fashion, Preeti was never a part of them. While the Apex Court was hearing the case in 2005, Preeti made a murder attempt on Madhur through contract killers.
In 2006, Police requested Court to dismiss case against Madhur, as Preeti's allegations are found false, but it took Courts all these years to relieve him. A delighted Madhur states, 'Eight years of my life has been ruined due to this false case. I thank my friends and family for their support always'. The talented filmmaker is all set to rock Bollywood with his upcoming movie 'Heroine', which has ravishing Kareena Kapoor in the lead.
