Basing on a complaint by the persons who were cheated by one Anjani Infrastructures who collected more than 150 crores and haven't registered any plots to the payees, court issued this notice. Though the court asked police to include her name in the case, it got missed in their final docs. A person named Tirupataih filed a petition in connection with this and stated that Genelia as the brand ambassador lured customers in buying these plots. He says that if she is not present, if would have confidence on the management.
Genelia was said to have told in the promotion campaign of 2008 that she is one of the directors of the company. Only relief for our cute married aunty is that she can send her lawyer to appear for her in court.
