Slain factionist Maddelacheruvu Suri's wife Gangula Bhanumathi stated that Bhanu Kiran would have been dead by now, if there is no one else to support him.
"I had been mounting a lot of pressure on CM and Home Minister to arrest Bhanu. Finally, my efforts have paid off. I'm very happy now. Someone might have given shelter to Bhanu, since my husband's death. Everyone fears even to talk with Suri or sit beside him. Even I'm not an exception. So, killing a person like Suri without anybody's help is not possible. If there is no one behind Bhanu, he would have been dead by now," Gangula Bhanumathi.
"Although Suri is aware of the fact that there is threat to his life from the opponents, he never doubted that his close associate Bhanu would kill him. Suri always treated Bhanu as his brother and trusted him more than anyone else. Bhanu is money minded and had done several settlements using the name of Suri," she added.
Bhanumathi refused to divulge the names of the people whom she is suspecting behind his husband's murder. She, however, hinted that Paritala Ravi family and few other TDP leaders helped Bhanu to accomplish the mission.
