Aamir Khan, along with the channel has blocked 2,000 slots for the broadcaster’s promos in 27 hours for Rs 6.25 crore.
The Satyamev Jayate promos, which will be aired from Monday 7 pm to Tuesday 10 pm will cost a whooping Rs. 6.25 crore. No other celebrity hosted show has costed so much, even though it is only for one day.
Though the cost of investment is very high, the broadcasters are likely to profit thrice their investment from advertising revenues.
Aamir Khan has taken great interest in the making of the promos for Satyamev Jayate. If sources are to be believed, Aamir even insisted that the footage for the promos should be taken directly from the making of the show to ensure secrecy.
According to a daily, the promotion costs for the shows hosted by mega stars like Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan haven’t crossed Rs. 2.5 crore.
