The event was Anil Kapoor's birthday bash and Salman was one of the celebs who graced the event. Here's what an eye witness has to say. "When Salman arrived at the venue, a man who happened to be in his mid 20s and calling himself Ajay rushed towards Salman, hugged him and kissed him.
Salman obviously was taken aback and slapped the youngster. 'The shocked fan', said the eyewitness 'was thrown to a corner of the room'. As Salman's luck would have it, a top news channel had captured these moments on camera!
Salman's bodyguards saw it and demanded the footage be deleted. Salman too stepped in and requested the same.
Sensing a commotion outside, Anil Kapoor came out and sorted out the tense situation after which SK strode into the Kapoor household to celebrate with other biggies such as Karan Johar, Rani Mukerji and Boney Kapoor, apart from others. And the gaiety continued till the wee hours of the morning...
Says an eye witness, "Anybody else in Salman's shoes would have slapped the guy, who was quite aggressive, by the way. This is certainly not the way to treat a star. No one has the right to get so close to them and make them uncomfortable in public."
